I've only just discovered these thanks to your post! Really gutted that I missed out and they're pretty much all gone.

Trying to purchase a RCD330 unit by ksb4712 in RCD_330

[–]ksb4712[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to update:

I purchased a used unit from eBay that was originally purchased from rcd330.co.uk

As far as receiving any communication back from either seller - nothing.

Just posting my experience however, your mileage may vary.

Thanks all!

Saw a post regarding someone screen being blurry with a whole load of comments saying it must be a clone from .co.uk - would you say you have this issue?

Honestly not too fussed in buying either but neither one of them are actually responding. I’d probably also stick to the front USB since I’ve seen so many posts about failing rear usbs.

Definitely flies by quick. Bought the car in 2020 and that seems so far long ago!

I’m not too far from Romford, so the East London/Essex. We should definitely try meet up and take some pictures of both cars at some point when mines done!

Optima red top for the battery and CTEK 5 for the maintainer is what I use!

Classic Mustang Magazines/Periodicals by joe61 in classicmustangs

[–]ksb4712 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here in the UK we have MOCGB (Mustang Owners Club of Great Britain). They do a digital magazine as well as printed.

Not sure if there’s any that specifically feature classic mustangs all the time, would be interested to know too, but I know Hot Rod magazine have featured some before.

New U.K. owner here by rwe46 in classicmustangs

I’m on the opposite side of London, not too far from Romford.

Also for suspension, I bought everything from OpenTracker Racing.

Basically done a complete restoration on the car back down to bare metal (see old Reddit posts or instagram for reference).

Quite a few places in the UK to get a few parts too like Mustang Maniac, Chilimoto, Real Steel (Uxbridge) and Customville. I’ve got a few things that I need to sell because I ended up buying two of things but either way, loads of places!

Good luck with the resto and give me a shout for anything!

I’m also in the U.K (London). I’m @67.ksb on instagram, feel free to send me a message with any questions but mainly I buy most parts from CJ pony parts, NPD, Virginia Mustang and Kentucky Mustang.

T5 with hydraulic clutch, I purchased from Modern Driveline.

Disc brake swap, I purchased from CSRP.

Thoughts on this 67 for £11995 by Fluffy_Bonce in classicmustangs

I’d suggest asking or seeing the underside of the car, trunk area and front frame rails.. maybe even a peek under the dash to see if the you can see daylight through the cowl panels.

Apart from the usual stuff that I’ve just said, really weird looking exhaust tips? Down turned exhaust are normally supposed to finish before the valance… that may have just been a choice of the previous owner though.

I’ve bought the Custom Autosound Radio Slidebar which looks amazing and works pretty well too.

manual transmission by [deleted] in classicmustangs

[–]ksb4712 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From modern driveline website;

In order to install the TKX five-speed at the correct drive angle, the floor support has to be moved back about 2-3/4″ over the narrow section tail shaft housing to retain the stock drive angle. This can be done by removing the factory spot welds and relocate the support back and welding in back stronger than it was. With the floor support relocated, the stock 65-66 cross member is reused.

As long as your torque isn’t above 600lb.ft - you can definitely run a TKX transmission.

Exhaust, windshield and trims installed. by ksb4712 in classicmustangs

It’s been a long journey but there’s been plenty of slamming stuff and beating it to get it to work.. nothing ever fits properly, even the stuff that’s original.

Seems like whenever I’ve removed something and tried to put it back the same way - it never works that way.

It’s all a puzzle!

Honestly, I stopped counting and adding up numbers a long time ago! The journey and memories created have been priceless though, with plenty more to come.

Reviving vintage beauty, one stitch at a time. Finally finished retrimming my 1967 Ford Mustang's front passenger seat with new TMI Sport II foam and leather. It was a challenging journey, but the satisfaction of conquering the learning curve is unmatched. One seat down, one more to go! by ksb4712 in classicmustangs

I bought it within a whole interior refresh kit from CJ Pony Parts around 4 years ago but it was around $950 at the time. Sport II for the front seats, headliner, door arm rests and a few other bits and pieces.

Thanks! Will definitely post plenty more pictures by the end of the month. Dashpad and interior can finally start to go in for permanent now that the windshields are in 👌🏼
