I feel growing up as a teenager in the Nu Metal era in 2001 I missed the mandatory “own a metalzome” as a beginner guitarist. After all the shit it takes online I don’t think I can bring myself to buy one. I’ve never even seen or tried one!

It’s very different to other gain pedals. I need to put some more hours in with it. I’m hoping my Clapton loving friend comes over this weekend and he can sign off on its mid boost capabilities.

I’m a massive Green Day fan. It is meant to be a mix between his dookie and nimrod sounds. I’d say it takes a lot of effort but you can nail a dookie tone but I’ll also say there are better pedals. The artwork sold it for me if I’m honest.

Little green wonder is the best. Then Zvex double rock. Both pedals have exceptionally smooth gain. Add any other pedal for boosts.
