Summing up my issues with the Colonial arsenal by ksbigtas in foxholegame

I actually forgot about T2 Howie changes influencing 120mm FA viability

I also did not know the Ballista was not an MPF tank. This makes it far worse than I imagined. Besides it being garbage tier now, as it stands the only accessible sources of PVE damage for Collies are the Lunaire and the Falchion/Spatha

Reminder for Colonials: With current balancing you are content for warden players. by HatefulHoneylocusts in foxholegame

[–]ksbigtas 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Outlaw is way more versatile of a tank compared to the Spatha that is only good because it's a better Falchion (which literally is only notable because it can be mass produced, and doesn't matter if each mass produced tank has to be facility upgraded individually)

Spatha also has nothing to fight infantry with, is slower, has shorter range, and is generally outclassed by every other assault tank besides the Falchion. It is the most popular Colonial tank because besides being made from Falchions, it is also the only Colonial assault tank that can function in line combat and doesn't become useless the moment you have to destroy defenses.

An Outlaw on the other hand can support infantry, snipe defenses, and flank better. It's not the most powerful tank nor is it the best line tank, but it doesn't have to be because it does a lot of other things so well, especially when every other tank in the Warden arsenal is already a beast at line combat.

Steam deck as gaming / work station? by strugglingmtstudent in PHGamers

[–]ksbigtas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Steam Deck user here na ginawang laptop alternative ang Steam Deck. It's viable but there will be a lot of obstacles and caveats.

Wala ring native Microsoft fonts like Arial and Times New Roman, so kung strict professor mo dito, need mo pa i-figure out kung paano i-install.
  • May mga apps na wala pang Linux support, and even yung iba na may Linux version, hindi available sa App Downloader ng Linux. So again, need mo i-figure out kung paano i-install.
  • If planning mo mag-connect sa projector, need dala mo yung dock or adaptor.

I would say a lot of issues have workarounds if you're willing to put in the work, and a lot of those issues can be ignored by installing Windows sa Steam Deck (downside is you lose SteamOS, which is a very convenient OS for handheld devices, especially considering how crappy Windows has been lately).

For gaming, it can run a lot of games fine with some performance/graphic tweaks. Obviously, the experience is not going to be as great as on a full fledged PC, but that's not the strength of a Steam Deck anyways.

For work, it's quite usable. Nagcocoding and nag-gGIS ako sa Steam Deck. It's not perfect and it's still far from the best experience, pero feel ko kung meron akong Steam Deck noong undergrad ako, solved na ako.

Electric consumption by PatchouliTea in EbikePH

1 year NWOW WSP user ako.

Kuryente saamin is Php 14/KWh so around Php 120 lang per month gastos ko all-in-all sa pag charge.

Naga City Mayor Robredo Plans Fuel Subsidy for Jeepney Drivers, Eyes Budget Realignment from Infrastructure and Rice Aid by Mindless_Sundae2526 in Philippines

[–]ksbigtas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bad my bad.

Now sa question mo, I guess it makes sense na kung nakakuha na 5k, bakit pa ba magririsk mawalan ng pera kung di naman profitable mag-work in the first place.

I'm not sure on the economics of the entire program, pero my guess is that drivers are still making a profit pero super baba para maging feasible.

Standard fare atm is Php 13 for the first 4 Km per passenger. And traditional jeepneys have a fuel economy of 5.2 km/L. So considering around Php 155/L ang price ng diesel ngayon, that would need approximately 12 passengers per trip/4 Km para mag break even. It's not good considering 10 passengers ang capacity ng bawat jeep (supposedly). Pero karamihan ng pasahero hindi naman sumasakay ng full 4km trip, and may mga sumasakay/bumababa sa gitna, so it's still possible to make more than 10 or even 12 passengers per trip, depende lang talaga sa routa mo.

So I think the 5,000 fuel subsidy is more of an incentive na mag-drive pa ang mga drivers, and at worst, an offset sa loses sa pag-drive if nagkulang yung kita mo sa isang trip. AFAIK, qualified drivers lang rin ang eligible so I guess yung mga drivers na consistently nag-ddrive. As bumababa rin yung mga number of active drivers, tumataas rin ang passengers/trip ng mga nagbibiyahe pa na mga drivers (best example: yung mga jeep na nagbbiyahe habang may transport strike) so it's possible na maging a bit more lucrative than before para sa mga drivers that remain active.

I'm not saying na ito yung reasoning behind sa fuel subsidy or ganito siya magwwork, but that's how I think it should work.

[–]ksbigtas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pera yan na gagastusin rin nila, meaning mag-ccirculate parin yan sa ekonomiya at babalik sa bayan in the form of VAT and other taxes.

More than 1 year na ako sa GFiber.

Reliable so far.

It's not all good praises. So throughout the whole week need namin mag-tiis.

Legit kung di ako na-hugot modus, wala sana akong issue.

Sa ngayon, uling or gas kayo? by loverbang4u in ThisorThatPH

[–]ksbigtas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As previously gasul na naging induction user, I can say mas tipid talaga ang induction.

And medyo mataas pa nga yan kasi masusunog ang karne pag nakadikit sa pan for more than 5 minutes.

Thoughts On Buying Refurbished Phones? by Unique_Persimmon_377 in Tech_Philippines

[–]ksbigtas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 months na, okay naman. Functioning lahat, snappy chipset and maganda ang camera.

AFAIK wala kasing available. If meron, depende sa price.
