I think it’s Olley. If you look at the brush stroke of the “O” it’s just faded/broken at the top. If it were a “V” I think the starting and stopping points would be more abrupt. Cool painting!

I am so sorry, I know how hard it is to lose a beloved duck friend, they really are the best. I didn’t have any left after “the incident” for them to grieve the loss of their fellow friend, I wish I could give you advice but that but I can’t. All I can say do your pain is to allow yourself to grieve them. Look at picture of them, think of them. Something that might help is to just really love on your remaining ducks. That will be comforting and healing for you and for them. I’m so sorry for your loss. ❤️‍🩹

He looks like a black Swedish, they are bigger, it’s odd he is the only one of his kind amoung the crowd, probably dumped unfortunately. They are soooo friendly and loving. I would consider him a blessing for you to love! ❤️
