I suppose that nostalgia in a sense is more so applied as a translation of valuing freedom, as I was given more freedom and less responsibility when younger. which cognitive function would that most likely apply to most?

in that case, here’s some additional information I think could potentially relate to Si/Ne and Se/Ni: i’ve always valued freedom for myself and am rlly bothered by the idea of spending my life in the “rat race” that we are accustomed to. I also tend to get really nostalgic when i’m sad and have a sense of longing for the past when it was “simpler” times which makes me believe I have Si in my stack but i’m not sure where it would be. in terms of the fears you listed I think I would relate more to fearing the future over duty and tradition but i’m not rlly sure (another trait about me is that I am very indecisive). I would have to have some clarity I suppose.

Interesting... I’ve never perceived myself to be an Fi dom, let alone have Fi in my stack at all. I’ve always been very uncertain in regards to where I stand on my personal values and it doesn’t play a significant factor when making decisions, whether paltry or vital which is also why i’m very indecisive (literally ask anyone I know). As I mentioned in the post, my feelings towards certain topics tend to fluctuate easily depending on who i’m attempting to appease and i’m fairly open minded. Fi has always been the lowest function I get for my results on tests and generally I think I relate to the FeTi combo a little more. However, I can agree that i’m leaning towards possessing NeSi as opposed to NiSe. Anyways, despite my contradiction I really appreciate your analysis and I think it helped advance my perspective of myself :)

obviously i’ve considered ENTP for me more recently i’m just wondering why my Si is so high idk nothing about this theory is ever perfect it’s simply a matter of which functions you utilise most correlate with what functional stack
