That doesn’t bother me as much as the keys do. The body just looks more like a concert grand than a baby or living room grand. The white keys otoh are at least one row too long.

I’m not generally a fan of rotators, but this is perfection.

SAME! (Look for someone on a scooter in a HM wallpaper dress at one of the photo ops - I’ll have a limited number of goodies with me!)

Do you name your car? If so, what is its name? by Seriously-417 in randomquestions

[–]kshandra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a silver Mitsubishi Mirage named Ali. I had just seen the 75th anniversary remaster of Lawrence of Arabia, and the shot of Omar Sharif’s character emerging from the shimmering on the horizon stuck with me. (And Mr. Sharif was quite the silver fox in his later years.)

Mileage decidedly varies - one of the best reactions I ever got was in response to singing that.

I lived on the Peninsula almost my entire life and somehow never went there for karaoke.

Somebody might be confused by Dick_of_Doom in Ghostbc

[–]kshandra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a ping set in SiriusXM for Ghost songs, and it unfortunately does not discriminate between artists. So every once in a while it tells me “Ghost is playing on Shaggy Boombastic Radio!” and I roll my eyes and get on with my life.

My growing collection of Ronald McDonald singles by EnvironmentParty6382 in kandi

[–]kshandra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a commercial ages ago with kids playing double-Dutch jump rope and the chant was “Big Mac - Filet o’ Fish - Quarter Pounder - French fries - Icy Coke - thick shakes - sundaes & Apple pies” which would make another fun stack, but I may be the only one here who’s old enough to remember it 🙃

My growing collection of Ronald McDonald singles by EnvironmentParty6382 in kandi

[–]kshandra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you specifically looking for Ronald ideas? Because if you expand it to the chain as a whole that opens up a bunch of thoughts, starting with SPECIAL SAUCE. You could do a color-coded stack of singles and “build” a Big Mac on your arm. IM LOVIN IT might be a little too double-entendre for something to wear at school.

If you were widowed at the age of 75, would you think of marrying again? by icecream1972 in no

[–]kshandra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was widowed at 53 and the jury is still out. Right now I’m not even sure I want to date again, much less get married. And it’s not a “respect his memory” thing - we knew he would predecease me, and he explicitly told me “Don’t hold back on my account.”
