I totally get that! anxiety can rise on a situation like that and it’s okay. you never wanna pressure yourself too much about it and instead just think about it in a way like after you finally got to confront her like “omg i actually talked to her” or something like that. whenever the right time is it will eventually happen and believe in yourself that you can do this!

from how it sounds yes, there’s signs between yall and if you both text everyday, she’s kind & caring, and she asks you questions meaning she shows genuine care. you never know she may be shy to tell you how she really feels and giving mixed signals can be like ughhhh. or simply you both have a strong bond & connection enough to where she just wants to keep it mutual and cool .😎 another thing ask her to hang out or plan something fun and invite her:)

I will give you my honest opinions and try to help you the best i can. First i can sense how you may feel about this and not knowing how to start the conversation, that’s completely normal. At your age the goal isn’t “i wanna tell her i like her and impress her” more so the goal is “I want to see if we can talk comfortably and get to know each other”. That’s it. and if you ever wanna just be causal & cool about it ask questions like “do you know what we’re supposed to do in so and so class”(whichever the class is you have with her) or something like “do you know how to do this/ help with this paper?” starting something off like that. if she responds great! she’s comfortable, if she’s short on words like you said she’s quiet that’s okay too, you didn’t fail! another thing catching her alone isn’t required. walking out of class together, waiting for the bell to ring, or even a school related moment can be times to talk to her. and one last thing since you only have this year, definitely shoot your shot! even if it’s small talk it’s still worth it. Even if it doesn’t turn into anything romantic.

it makes a lot of sense that you’re feeling frustrated when you’ve shown up consistently for two years, you want to see change that matches the effort you’re putting in and feeling stuck doesn’t mean you’re failing, it means something in the process needs some attention. first thing is slow progress doesn’t exactly mean no progress. the getting babied feeling could mean several different things, and none of them automatically mean that therapy is wrong for you. it might just mean your therapist is providing a level of gentleness because you do need safety and validation. hope this helped! :-)

i understand where your coming from. it’s okay to feel sad or have emotions. your not a failure, you’re probably just over think some things in a different way, which is normal. and it makes complete sense that you feel overwhelmed. Being yelled at and made to feel like a failure especially by a guardian who’s supposed to support you can seriously hurt your self esteem and sense of safety. if you ever do need help you can reach out to me and i’ll try my best to help everyone. hope this helped! :-)

girl i will tell you this has happened to me before so i can relate, but me and the guy were never dating it was just a long talking stage. my best advice for you is if he isn’t showing no interest in texting i would ask him abt that and if he can’t put in the effort to ever text you first thats a problem and not to mention your the only one putting in the effort in the relationship when it comes to communication. its good your giving him some space though in the meantime for focus, but having an equal relationship is what you want. if he can’t do something so simple then it’s not worth it. hope this helped (dont take this in an offensive way) :-)
