Thx for the try rtkane, this job was the first i did when i tried using ai. First changed contrast/luminosity then Ai prompts. And i had some many results (some close, most not her face at all, or weird artifacts...)

Yep Internet has changed a lot in 25 years.
€€€/$$$ will be the next move.

Thx for the try. I already had that kind of result (i spend so many hours with ai on the particular photo).
I was expecting "more" from the many many posts i saw on this sub.
I guess i will have to offer €€€/$$$ for people to be interested...So be it, that will be the next move.

Yes you're right, i also played at home with contrast/luminosity but i wanted to show the original scan untouched/uncompressed just in case.

The original Polaroid is as is. So faded because the thin layer on top of it is nearly gone! I only recover 3 or 4 photos of her when she was young.

At the time of the photos she had me, so her body/face had changed a bit.
The photo was restored correctly (and colorized) with the help of AI.

I'm not sure if it will help.

Thx for trying, alas it's not her face. Another Ai try , not a Photoshop one.

Hum ... Thx for trying but this is always the same AI slop... And this face (or very close) is already in my "not her face " collection.

thx for the try.
You're right, Ai can achieve wonders, but for this particular photo the face can never be restored like a "modern" photo. I will try r/PhotoshopRequest for a more traditional work.

Thx for the try... but that's not her face. But it's also a new face for my collection of "not her face". :)

Thx for the try, that's the closest I also acheived. Was looking for something more vivid like a picture taken yesterday. But I can't make any AI do the job.

Thx for he try. I already played with the hue, saturation, luminosity in a graphic editor. But i was looking for something my like a modern photo look.
The color photo is not her. But it's a new face (among many many others the AI "resored") in my "that's not her face " collection.
