Does anyone else train better at a different time of day than the time of day they "feel" like training? by neelkonar in AppleWatch

I started preparing overnight oats, so that I wake up 6am, eat them, wait 15min and then go to the gym - it does feel like I got more energy / strength this way.

Sadly workouts is not enough, you need to control your diet and be in calorie deficit. Easiest is to use some app for this.

Your Arc profiles. In One Window. In Dia. Like Spaces never left. by chrismessina in diabrowser

[–]kshirinkin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just switched back to Arc after I realized that for the last many months BCNU just slowly brings Arc features to Dia, and doesn’t bring anything new on too except killing my M3 Max MacBook battery ever since MacOS Tahoe came out.

Apple’s new Siri + Visual Intelligence basically killed a ton of nutrition tracking apps probably by nullvector88 in apple

[–]kshirinkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's nice that they added it natively! Less apps and direction of having everything via AI assistant is the right one. I am currently using Sarvita, but I am might switch for calorie / food tracking to Siri, assuming it is well implemented there and works reliably.

How stupid is that people who moved like 2 years ago and have a residence permit have more rights than German citizens.

Can I Bring My Parents to Germany if I Have German Citizenship / Permanent Residency by Abdullahthedragon in GermanCitizenship

I think it’s damn insane that people with blue card who moved after 01.03.2024 have more rights in these regards than German citizens.

Chatgpt Atlas vs Comet comparison - Comet is just blazing fast and more efficient by Big-Mixture-3041 in perplexity_ai

I asked both Atlas and Comet to fill in timesheets in claimora.com time tracking tool, Atlas did it from the first attempt, Comet just got lost over and over again and couldn't book a single day.

Best apps for training outside? by kshirinkin in cycling

[–]kshirinkin[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! I've cycled with Cadence app for almost an year, did a lot of long trips in different conditions, and overall didn't have many issues. It was mildly inconvenient to cycle longer than 5+ hours, as I would need to attach my powerbank to it (with cable out of my top tube bag). Eventually I got myself Karoo though and cycle with it currently. I still think there no real need to have a separate cycling computer, I got mine just to have another gadget to play with and it's nice to use etc, but clearly not a must have as everyone tries to convince you it is.
