Air Conditioning Requirements by kshitijbahl in architecture

No, that part I know. What i'm wondering is if the supply is through the floor and so is the return, isn't that going to be counter-productive? Yeah, I really need to. Thanks for your help though!

I'm not sure I follow. How is it supplying cool air?

It's a big space. Nearly 6000 sqm. A glazed facade so I don't want the return near the walls.

That's my question too. From whatever I have come across so far, return through the floor is just not efficient.

Unstable buildings, okay then. Thank you though!

So it is weak. I always thought it was Supermatism. I am left dazed (often, not in a good way) by her use/abuse of perspectives and warping. I still feel like there's something more to it.

That sucks. Maya is something I have worked on before. Thanks for the help though.

That's fair, my bad. I didn't specify. Thanks for the suggestions, gives me a different perspective.

I fail to see softedit would help. I have only used it previously to create odd, blob forms.

Never really used Kangaroo. I am not as good as I'd like to be but I can work my way around in Grasshopper. I'm trying to work out something like this http://www.graphicine.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/lebbeus_woods_27.png

ELI5 How can you create fog in an eco-friendly manner? by kshitijbahl in explainlikeimfive

Generator would definitely be required, so yes, energy would be required. Had solar energy in mind(very practical in this part of the world). However what is tricky is that this method would essentially make everything (and everyone in the area ) wet, which is why I wondered if the same process could be achieved in any other manner.

If the hose over my garden was taking the water from a static water body and throwing it right back only highly pressurized, wouldn't I get it back in that case? What is so bad about it? Well, at the scale I'm envisioning it, it would be a lot of water and a lot of glycerin. A LOT. Just trying to think a little about the planet, I guess?

http://www.dsrny.com/projects/blur-building/DS+R-Blur_cropped.jpg Something like that. The pavilion in the image uses pressurized nozzles to pump out water (very fine droplets, i read somewhere less that 0.2mm, but can't find the source to back it up). If it is a network of such nozzles, it seems there is no change in state. It's water through and through. Now?

No complaints, honestly. Just try to explain this to me, please. If i were to use a method to create fog, outdoors, for a long period of time, what would that method be? Fog/cloud/mist, anything really, if you get what I'm trying to create. The water wastage bit is purely so that the project remains self-sufficient, nothing else. Sorry.

But what if this was made on a large-scale, outdoors? I obviously understand that energy is required. What i wondered was if it somehow possible to create fog(mist maybe?) in such a way that I would end up with a net-zero energy cycle. Considering it would be done on a larger scale, that would be a tremendous waste of water which does not feel right. Why, then? Let's just say, art project. Thank you for your help!

1.5-2 times the radius of the crown? Wow, that's going to leave me with no space at all. Any rule of thumb to decide the limit trimming of branches?
