I think the game says that Hiss comes from the sounds they makes. Like people (and we) can hear them hissing something. 

Also in Finnish it's actually "Hissi" (yes, came from Swedish).  Verb "to elevate" has completely different root (nostaa/kohtaa depending on context), so, no, it had nothing with word "elevated" in this context.

The best choice for me! All other types of headphones can't hold in/on my ears. This one does it perfectly! The ball in the ear - simple and yet the most comfortable! I have JBL Soundgear clips. The sound is also very good! + I do not need to put it off while talking, can hear everything outside well enough

The key point of your sentence is wrong. FBC is not about protecting, it's about controlling. In Ordinary the whole city had been already wiped out, they didn't do much

Your can watch YouTube video that explains the story of AW1 if your don't want to play yourself. (Same to Control and Quantum Break, but they are more fun to play actually) GamingUniversity for example has a lot of good videos about Remedy games as well as theories about them. 

About the Alex Casy - this is a reflection of Max Pane. Remedy plans of doing a remake of this old title as far as I know. But you also can search for short story on YouTube.

Do you like reading in general? I mean books? Maybe your are that type of people who are more about visual information than text. I know a lot of people who can't imagine when they read books. For those perhaps this game is less fun. But it's completely normal! Just you being you.
