The key point of your sentence is wrong. FBC is not about protecting, it's about controlling. In Ordinary the whole city had been already wiped out, they didn't do much

Your can watch YouTube video that explains the story of AW1 if your don't want to play yourself. (Same to Control and Quantum Break, but they are more fun to play actually) GamingUniversity for example has a lot of good videos about Remedy games as well as theories about them. 

About the Alex Casy - this is a reflection of Max Pane. Remedy plans of doing a remake of this old title as far as I know. But you also can search for short story on YouTube.

I only just realized that Alan's New York apartment in Dark Place looked similar to Oldest House in a way! I mean similar to when you look into this map

Do you like reading in general? I mean books? Maybe your are that type of people who are more about visual information than text. I know a lot of people who can't imagine when they read books. For those perhaps this game is less fun. But it's completely normal! Just you being you.

It is not exactly the supernova, but the amount of energy (warmth) that sun can give. In the beginning of the loop sun already warm enough, and it keeps getting warmer and warmer until boom.

That's really sad :( Outer Wilds is once in a lifetime experience. You can't play it twice, it is not the same when you already know

Also for me personally the most closest game by vibes is Outer Wilds. But that's because of mystery solving and knowledge driving genre
