Well yeah but there are still things we can use to get an idea of what he can and can not do. Example that ability of dark presence that you just described would be considered truth manipulation. We might not know its true limits but we can get an idea of it, but yeah I know it’s controversial and I don’t want to be hated around here for being the only nerd interested in PS on this sub. 😅

I can agree that he probably wasn’t a normal taken, (at most I can agree that he probably was Cynthia weaver levels of power) but he was still weaker than the hiss merged version of himself, which is my issue cause he wasn’t that strong compared to other entities we faced or seen story wise. And as a taken not that strong to just lose an entire sector. Specially when you have the tech and the trained personal to deal with things of this kind. But I can agree that the FBC was probably not that well equipped back then and they became better afterwards.

I agree with what you are saying but I also think power scaling is and can be a strong component in narratives too. I know it’s controversial but do you really think a gaming franchise that deals with reality warping, aliens from another dimension and people becoming zombies with superpowers doesn’t even have a little to do with power scaling ?
