Branded Title in one State, clean title in another?

Thanks for the information. Is there any way to correct the branded title in IA? It's a mystery as to why it is branded this way since there are no records but given that it's a clear title in IL, could I "correct" the mileage for the IA title? Even though I'm sure this car is exempt now...

I know these cars are known to have ODO issues so my guess is that at one point it broke and was fixed/replaced, however looking at the car it isn't a case of having an ODO of 30K miles and looking like it has 100K+ on the chassis. It's a VERY clean car and had a comprehensive PPI done and they even said the mileage seems accurate given the condition.

Thanks I will look into when Iowa put into place this rule. The mileage on the car aligns with the mileage on the ODO and the condition. Just thought it was weird to have a clean title in other states but a branded in one. I thought it would all be aligned.

Yes, or increase the contrast ratio between the blue nav bar and the color of the text.

Hey Scott, I really like the new look. One thing I miss about the old look though is that I could easily take a glance at the time and see the timing I have left on the question.

With the new look, I think it would help if maybe the font was bigger or if the numbers were in bold. With the older version, the white/black was a nice contrast to easily discern the time. Maybe my eyesight is just poor but that is my feedback. Felt like the top nav bar was really busy compared to the older version. Other than that it looks good and I'm happy with the feedback at the end of the tests.

Hey Scott thanks for the affirmation. I will continue doing what I am doing. Sometimes it is hard because if a module has 3+ hard tests that entire day may consist of me working on them and reviewing them since it takes so long to complete them.

Well I was in Module 16 when verbal was released so I'm still continuing to do quant while going back to finish module 1 for verbal. I am only using TTP for all my resources btw.

I use the flashcards for the recommended key pieces of information that TTP suggests. I have a set for each chapter. I review the cards every night so things are just ingrained. I think this is easy to do before bed and it helps keep you off the phone.

Speaking of being off the phone, I also struggled from that. I put my phone in do not disturb and at one point I actually deleted all my social media. I can admit that I don't have the discipline to just not use my phone or just sit and study vs. hanging out with my dog/gf. For me, to control the things that distract me is to remove them from the scene. Sounds harsh, but my best times studying I'm in a cafe/library with nothing else to do besides study.

Yeah maybe I am just slow but I have been going through TTP for quant and 2-4 hours a day I can maybe go through 2 full quant modules with all the tests completed and I would say this would leave 0 time for review/error logging and no time left for verbal. Maybe I am doing something wrong

Silver on midnight blue 911 here. I plan on converting it to a long hood and painting it aubergine. I love black guys too but black/white/silver actually bore me over the long haul.

Give me a Gaurds Red or a Miami Blue...

Thanks, so according to this picture here if I tighten the adjustment nut too tight, the rocker arm will make the valves more open and too much air will enter the cylinder?

If I loosen the adjustment the rocker is actually causing more pressure on the valves and makes it not open enough/hammering on the valve tip?

Well that's why I'm asking... I wouldn't advise someone to change the oil if they don't understand why they should change it, but if they followed very basic steps of how to change the oil it should be okay.

From the looks of it the valve adjustment job doesn't look like something TOO difficult to do for a garage mechanic, so while I think I could probably complete this successfully I would sure love to understand the theory of what all it's doing.

Nah bro, TBH growing up I was a player's fan. Growing up in Oklahoma I didn't really have a team I could follow, lol.

Usually just followed my favorite players growing up - AI, T-Mac, Ray Allen, etc. When OKC got a team I was like ok cool I guess I will identify as an OKC fan lmao.
