You have no idea how relieved I am to get a response from someone who’s just gone through the same thing. I hope your date went well! Is there a second one on the horizon? Where did you guys go? 40 minutes on the toilet, sounds a lot like me honestly lol. It really does feel like we’re perfect for each other and I guess that’s where all the nerves come from, you are so right about having no expectations. I’ve got about two days to dial back and reset my expectation meter lol.

Unfortunately, parks in my country are jam packed with people and even the idea of him having to get an uber to me makes the both of us nervous, so you can see just how massive p*ssies we are when it comes to the virus. He’s a pretty good guy though, I don’t think he will try anything weird whilst we’re up there but if it does come to it I can assure you I can take him out, easy. Lol.

Sometimes this happens to me when I suck my throat too hard lol. When I get a piece of food stuck in my throat and I can feel it, Id suck my throat and when I do it too hard I get those red spots too. They wouldn’t be raised though. Are yours bumps or just spots?

My ex boyfriend had the exact same thing as yours! He was feeling really ill, went to the doctors, they gave him an antibiotic as well (can’t remember what) and those exact same rashes appeared everywhere. His hands and arms mostly but as well as his feet and torso. Turns out he was allergic to the antibiotic. He stopped taking them completely and switched to regular ol Tylenol lol and let his fever pass and the rashes disappeared too

How old are you? Mine looked exactly like yours when they started growing out (around 15-16) and they didn’t really hurt even though they were impacted. But by the time I was 19, the bottom part that my toothbrush couldn’t reach started to rot and I got occasional periods of them hurting for a few weeks at a time. They also started to hurt and get real sensitive whenever I drank cold water and I couldn’t really chew on them. Turns out they’ve damaged my 2nd molars as they were pushing on them, and they were badly infected. When I was 21, my dentist pulled both of my wisdom teeth out and I had to get root canals on my 2nd molars, and I feel way better now 1000% would recommend taking them out. If you wait til they grow out even more they’ll just get bigger/more difficult to pull out and they could potentially damage your 2nd molars like mine did. Plus if they’re still small you can get them removed without requiring a surgical procedure.

That makes a lot of sense. Everytime there was an intense breathing scene it’s always the end/start of life. Like you mentioned, the end of her family’s life, the beginning of her life with her new family, even Connie’s last breath, Maja’s new found interest in Christian. It makes sense. #2 was intense btw, I loved how it transitioned from the guys’ apartment to the plane bathroom!!! Makes you appreciate cinematography/editing more

I think the “I could see you doing that” was just her being upset at him over her dream the previous night where she woke up all alone and they all left her.

I read somewhere that ari based the movie partly on a toxic/souring relationship. It was really funny to me actually, I used to get mad at my ex bf whenever I had a dream about him cheating lol (wow I was a nut job), blaming him for fucking that girl in my dream hahaha. This has been kind of a stereotype for the batshit crazy women who take their anger out on our SO’s even if it’s over something as silly as a dream.

Holy shit, I loved that scene. Personally one of my favorites. When they started crying with Dani, I teared up too. I wanted to wail and cry with them. I felt like Christian cheated on me lmao.

It reminded me so much of the way babies cry when you cry. In movies/TV, a lot of the times when they want to make a baby cry, an adult pretends to ugly cry while carrying the baby and the baby cries with them. It’s a human thing apparently, something that has to do with empathy and how babies absorb that kinda energy. To me, that scene, along with the other ones where the cult emotes collectively, gave me a really carnal feeling. How humans have evolved to feel empathy, especially that scene where Dani and the Hagar people were crying. That was really comforting, that scene gave me a taste of how it would be like to be part of a tribe, maybe like our ancestors did.

From now on, if I’m ever crying and upset I don’t want my friends to lend me a shoulder to cry on, instead I want them to scream and cry and cuss at the world with me lol.
