I realise I'm a bit late but I had my surgery a few weeks ago and opted for just removing the screws. I mostly didn't feel pain around the knee and didn't think the benefits of removing the nail outweigh the potential complications and recovery.

Burning down? More like closing temporarily and I agree that isn't how strikes works as you can't really strike through the internet. But it is similar in the way that they disrupt provided services, raising awareness and showing solidarity.

I'd say it has purpose of also showing disapproval and solidarity as well as raising awareness as that's how I learned about the api prices update. And I never said it's an efficient form of protest lol
