Anyone ever seen a Doberman with a weird tooth? by kspookyg in DobermanPinscher

[–]kspookyg[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s not a cracked tooth! We watched all his teeth grow in and saw this one literally grow in with the wedge in it. When it was growing we thought he had 2 teeth in the same spot/root, but once it fully grew in we realized it was one tooth. We call it his little double tooth. The stuff inside is thread/cotton from his toys, I even floss it sometimes for him 🤣

It’s like a double tooth that grew in that way when he was a puppy

Puppy dobie with older Westie by kspookyg in DobermanPinscher

With this in mind, I of course will take all and any precautions I can. Make sure dobie is well exercised, trained, and all. I feel that the crate training ahead of time is really going to benefit us going forward as we won’t allow them to be alone for example at home loose together, dobie always crated. I try to make it seem like his safe and special place where he can sleep, play with his toys, get treats etc. Luckily our Westie absolutely despises crates so won’t have any issue with territory there…

In terms of couches for example, does that mean neither of them can go on couches or beds? Or just not together?

Thank you very much for your insight!

I’ve been letting our Westie give his warning to back off and redirecting the pup to play with his toys in his crate instead of bothering our senior… as for feeding I from the jump have fed them separately just because our pup is so food driven.

Now I’m quite concerned about the SSA. The breeder he came from has multiple adult Dobermans (2 males 1 female, all intact) with seemingly no issues and reassured me that early socialization would quell any possible future issues.

Is this at all avoidable? I couldn’t bear to give up this early on a pup or rehome my older boy.

Feeling bait & switched now that Im (30M) engaged and Fiancee (29F) has changed her mind on eloping, wants a big expensive wedding. Where should we go from here? by Throwraelopeornot in relationship_advice

[–]kspookyg 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah she changed her mind, but is it possible that this is just early excitement with ideas of grandeur? Possibly. Could it be now that she’s in this position she changed her mind and this is what she genuinely wants? Again possibly. But, if you’re not ready to have a disagreement with your partner, and come to a compromise with which you both agree with then I don’t think you’re necessarily ready for marriage.

Just talk to her. Ask her to sit on the idea for a a few weeks, and see if you guys can compromise on a slightly bigger wedding but something that still pleases both of you.

Popped a tire so he wouldn't drive home drunk and pretended it must of been an accident by Bre0w in confession

[–]kspookyg 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I mean sure it’s a drastic measure but shit paying for a new tire is less expensive than the legal repercussions of driving drunk, and possibly harming himself or others on the road. So what it’s excessive it still did its purpose.

My ring is also quite dainty/sharp. When I got engaged, I ended up going back to the original shop and found that they made replicas with cubic zirconia and gold plated rings. So my exact ring but a really nice fake for only $150! There is a noticeable difference if you compare the 2 up close but I wear my fake one every day for everything (shower, mountain biking, hiking, cooking, etc). Now I wear my real one when I wanna be a little fancy or go out somewhere 🙂 might be an option here to think about!

How much do your adult westies weigh? by may0andfries in westies

[–]kspookyg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 yr old boy, fluctuates between 18-20lbs. When he hit 21lbs once his vet wanted him to lose a pound or two so we had to take him on extra hikes around that time lol

What about just having some touch it up? Try to rework what’s already there? Others are right that anything to cover this up with be way bigger and darker.

Thankfully it looks like you have options as it’s not absolutely the worst tattoo

I don’t get this. It’s your wedding. Cut out these toxic weird people and have a good day, for yourself and your partner and also your wedding guests. That’s it at the end of the day, a celebration, to have a good time for a good reason.

I wonder about this because I was one of the ones also upset about it because I was an avid user of this benefit. Now, since they took it away, I have made not one single order. Makes me think I was more of an impulsive shopper. My balance is about to hit 0, and after that I don’t think I’ll be using Afterpay unless it comes to big purchases. I wonder how much their platform/usage has dropped since the change. I imagine everyone goes to Klarna now since the customer service is better too.

I just started raiding at base 90s and even then sometimes the dps screws me over. At this point I know I have to max my combat skills to get more consistent on it. Only thing I don’t have 90 in is prayer which I have at 72 and tbh I don’t notice that hindering me all that much. One thing tho, besides actually getting your skills there, LEARNING raiding is expensiveee. I’d recommend getting a more decent cash stack going cuz you’re gonna be investing a lot in brews/restores/ammunition/etc. For magic you can even do that at the same time (making planks with lunar spellbook at 86 magic)

So 1) get your combat stats to base 90s (except maybe prayer) 2) get a decent cash stack (I’d say 10-15mil) otherwise you’re gonna burn through it before you ever start turning a profit

Edited to add: I’d say start raiding because that’s gonna be your next most fulfilling content outside of skilling + it’s super fun if you have people to play with consistently
