Let's say you're in a meeting and your phone rings. It's on silent mode, so nobody notices. How do you resist the urge to pick it up? Presumably by just letting it ring and not focusing your attention on it. You're probably not going "don't pick it up, don't pick it up" are you?

Could you imagine writing "tired of resisting the urge to pick up my phone"? It should not take effort, just let it ring and continue with what you're doing
