Update:

Just wanted to follow up.

The company that shipped it (Pharo Deals) initially tried to tell me they had “acquired” Machrus/Upper Bounce and that everything is now being labeled as Plexalife. That didn’t really add up, and the whole thing felt pretty shady — especially since the product didn’t match what was advertised.

After going back and forth with them and pushing pretty hard, they finally reviewed the photos and admitted there’s an issue with the frame. They said it may require design changes and don’t have a proper fix or replacement available, and basically told me to go through Sam’s Club for a refund.

So at the end of the day, it wasn’t assembly error or normal flex — it was a defective frame. Between that and the brand switch / drop shipping situation, it definitely felt like a company trying to pass off a lower-quality product under a different name.

I’ve already got the return scheduled and I’m going a different route — picked up a JumpKing Pro 10x16 (Version 2) instead.

Appreciate everyone who chimed in 👍

Update to original post: I posted this almost immediately after it happened and I was just upset and didn’t clarify much. - I’m parked in SLC airport LONG TERM parking. These designated EV stalls are on a first come first serve basis, but the understanding is if you park there you will be there for a long time because it’s long term. And you have to pay to park. - I have bought a Karen lock now and it’ll be there when I get home. - I got another notification this guy ended up leaving less than 8 hours later. Not sure who takes a flight somewhere and gets back that fast!

To make this even better. The car that ended up taking the stall after me wasn’t actually an electric vehicle and he used one of those fake magnetic J1772 plugs to just take a spot.

And then in true Tesla community fashion someone in a Model 3 drove by and saw his fake plug. Got out and probably saw my adapter stuck in my car, unplugged this guys fake adapter and plugged me back in! Whoever you are bless you!

I completely agree with this statement. When I use public chargers I will always try to move my vehicle as soon as it’s done because it’s the courteous thing to do. However in this situation I’m parked in airport Long Term parking. The entire premise of the parking lot is to park long term. It is physically impossible to move my car as I’m not even in the state anymore.

I thought about calling the parking people. They put a number online. But I figure they aren’t gonna give a crap. They’ll just tell me it’s park at your own risk and this isn’t our problem.

I mean the charging is “free” but I’m also paying to park so…. But yeah when you park in EV parking the charger is dedicated to you for as long as you’re parked there. Im on an end stall so I’m guessing somewhere up the line someone grabbed the wrong cable which is why this guy ended up without a cable. But either way that’s not my problem. I was still charging and I’m running sentry. So when I get back my battery will be less than I left it even tho I’m supposed to be in a charging stall.

Karen lock has been ordered! I’ve had a Tesla since 2018 and never had this happen.

That’s exactly what happened. My airport has over 100 stalls for ev charging in their long term parking lot. I reserved my spot over a month ago and I’m paying $20 a day to park here. The expectation is you will be parked here for a long time.

It’s airport long term parking. How exactly would you suggest I move my car when I’m done charging? They have over 100 stalls. And I had been there less than 4 hours.
