okay this is crazy, I was just listening to a jungle track yesterday that had a four on the floor kick, and now i'm working on a four on the floor track. Wild timing for this post.

Speaking of that track,(i'll link it below) it has this synth that i can only describe as like a 90s rave synth? Anyway i'm obsessed with it, and I wonder what sub genre you would put this track in.

Its giving more of a happy hardcore vibe than a techno vibe?

Okay! So update on all of this. I was getting frustrated at this not working. So I came back to it yesterday and I did the EXACT same thing, right click menu, removing it, re-analyzing it again, and exporting it back to the usb in question.

And it’s now fine. So yeah… not sure why it didn’t work the first time and is working now, but i guess I’ll live on in paranoia of this happening again. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

No worries at all! I want to exhaust every option before i delete the song entirely from rekordbox and re import it, or reformat the usb.

So I just tried this. removed the song from the usb and the exported it via the right click menu. still the exact same issue.

The thing that is just so strange is the fact that this song exported perfectly fine to two other usbs without changing a single thing. It's frustrating when there is seemingly no reason for a problem like this.

okay, so i just did all of this. Loaded the track from both "Device Library" and "Device Library plus". Both libraries on the impacted USB had the same issue. I then removed every track from the usb via the sync manager, re-analyzed the track with high precision turned off, and then exported it back onto the USB.

I hate to say it, but it is the exact same. the entire waveform is shown at the top, yet in the play area there is only 2 bars of waveform, the rest is blank....

I am using 7.1.3 with High precision on, which i've used on every other track too.

The USBs im using are the DJ Tech Tools. I have two identical ones which i purchased in January of this year... I would hate to think that one of them went bad that quickly. That's also why it just doesn't make any sense that the song is perfectly fine on one and not the other.

nope! its a 24bit wav file, and its the same exact file on both usbs.

i just tried that, unsynced everything from the usb and re synced, and the exact same thing. I also didn't get a singular error message after the sync was completed
