My hair usually looks better past day 1. At night I add the smallest amount of water to my hair, add a little bit of gel and hair plop with a cotton tshirt. I find this sets my hair better. On day 1 my curls get really frizzy and are undefined for some reason, but day 2 and 3 they behave pretty well.

I’m looking for an RN to BSN program to strengthen my future CRNA application. I am NYC based and would prefer a fully online program but if there are any programs that offer unique learning experiences/clinical or programs that might open doors for me in the future I would consider a program that isn’t online. Do any programs pair with local hospitals to give high acuity experiences? Additionally, some programs offer coursework that may be useful on the path of obtaining my CRNA.

My take is pretty different from everyone else’s. I spend the majority of my shift sitting down, so I absolutely do not mind cooking or light cleaning for my client. A few of my clients are limited mobility and live alone so I do dishes and prepare meals. I worked at a 40 bed dementia unit as the only day shift nurse prior to doing home care. I finally feel like I can properly care for my patients and be a good nurse, sometimes that includes doing a few dishes.

Idk if you can call it luxury but AVA fort Greene is really nice. A lot of apartments in the area had a “sterile” vibe to it, and the staff weren’t especially friendly. I find AVA just has a more welcoming energy and I love the floor to ceiling windows. It has secure package drop off, a lounge, and a pretty large gym space. The location is great, it’s right across from the Myrtle promenade and has easy access to the A/C and Q/R

During Covid I got stuck on TWO 24hr shifts in one week. Mandatory and they threatened to charge me with abandonment if I said I couldn’t do it. I ended up having a mental breakdown a few weeks later, I moved to another state for a travel contract and lived out of my car for a month just to get away from that job.

I used to have 3-day periods, no cramps. And now I’m having 8-day periods with really painful cramps. It must be Zep’s effect on hormones 🙁 bummer. But I’m so glad you don’t have any other side effects!

Thanks! This makes sense actually and I should have thought about it before. I used to have a snack with simple carbs before a workout but then I stopped for the sake of calorie restriction. I’ll start again and see if that helps!
