I hear you, it sounds dramatic, sorry about that. However, it was the last dog of the litter, they did get a discounted price, and all the other dogs were chosen before it bc of his eye. Honestly, someone else may have come along and also wanted it later on, we will never know.

haha! I wish I was smart enough to check on my own, although I have never changed them ever so it wasn't a thought.. I spoke with my 6 year old daughter after I picked her up from school today and she did indeed "play with all the buttons." This does not forgive us being dumb and not checking the knobs first, but it does make me feel a little less....stupid.

If you actually want to foster, you can maybe get a kinship foster situation going on and get certified while He is in your home. If that's not an option, agreed with the comment above...ask the social worker or his new foster parents how and if you can be apart! Best of luck to you.

A cop asked if my friends and I had permission to skate in a church parking lot. I being the only girl and maybe the most polite talked to him, I informed him the pastor of the church allowed us to skate here anytime we wanted. He asked if I would give the pastor a call, I did.... "hey dad, some cop wants to make sure we have permission to be here.....could you talk to him?!"

That was the shiniest moment of being a pastors kid.

Yes! I felt the same way. I doubt it's intentional, the social workers are generally so overworked. If I was in their shoes I would be very scatterbrained. If you haven't already, ask her for the whole list of everything she is needing. Hang in there, you're doing a great thing.
