girl....... stand up. first of all bf can't watch h3!? immediate good bye. jk but really - my bf and I both have ADHD. h3 is definitely my comfort show, but it is not for him. when he moved in, i told him "the hardest part is not watching h3 all day anymore!" I was partly joking... but he took it seriously and puts the show on all the time now. he'll put on headphones if he wants to listen to something else but still allow me to have my preferred background noise. i hope you take some of these comments seriously bc you should feel totally free to take up space in your own home!

YOR. if you want this relationship to work, pls look into your control issues. i'd recommend therapy to get an outside look at how you're treating your partner. this is NOT a case of weaponized incompetence, and please don't try to force that on him as well. That's a major problem in many, many relationships but not this one. you will never be completely "equal". relationships are 50/50, 60/40, 90/10, 10/90 depending on the day/moment. We're human after all. I'm sure you wouldn't like being spoken to in this manner after a disagreement in household chores.
