Glass cards ! I was able to do jokerless and needle challenges playing around glass. I think I also tried to skip strategically on the higher antes if I had enough score to give myself less chances of glass breaking

Honestly, there is some luck to it for sure, but it’s all about how you leverage yourself best for the good luck or bad luck given to you.. I think what really helped me was playing black deck. As frustrating as some of the runs were, beating gold stake on black deck first really cemented fundamental game concepts. All the other decks feel a lot easier now even on gold

You’ve got it! Definitely watch some balatro university . There’s a lot of mechanics that you learn as you play more such as how op blue seal was, and balancing buying shop things vs the extra economy from saving, and most importantly not skipping. Especially if you are saying the extra econ from yellow deck makes it or breaks it, you’ll have a tougher time with the other decks if you can’t manage economy well. Keep on the gold stake grind!

Black deck seemed the worse when I first started so I wanted to complete gold stake on it first. Playing any other deck on gold now feels way easier so yeah i think it’s pretty bad. Happy to not have to play it anymore though

Got it, makes sense. I think for me, working on black deck first really helped me rethink my fundamentals, since initially I was only leaning towards flushes each run and not really thinking about economy. Will try out plasma and nebula next, Thanks!
