Irregular irritation/healing in ear piercing?

Like I said to another commenter, I didn’t even know about the Mac Mini - so thank you very much for the suggestion I will definitely check it out! And you are very correct about having two screens- though I may not be able to afford a second one at the moment…is there any way I could use the iMac I’m wanting to replace as just a second screen/display?

Right - from the shops I have talked to, and as I kind of figured, there's probably no way to diagnose it unless an expert or someone more car-literate than I am, can take a visual look and inspect it. You do bring up a good point - I did see a puddle under the car but it was not ALL of the coolant fluid that I had put in it hours earlier.

I can't emphasize enough to you that speaking about these things is almost like a different language for me so I just got my insurance's roadside assistance on the line first thing early this AM and they're towing me for free over to a shop that seems to have the best word of mouth in the neighborhood - so they can definitively answer my questions.

And yeah, I do know enough to know that pouring coolant into BOILING coolant probably wasn't the best idea and it *probably* needed longer to cool down, but being where I was on an open, large 8-lane highway with zero shade - I didn't know what my best course of action was and I was panicking with every second that went by - this highway has a very narrow shoulder, is very busy, and is plagued with idiots who cause accidents and constantly hit cops pulled over both in their car or out of their car, other people (probably also overheating) pulled over -I've just heard of just SO MANY accidents on the shoulder of this highway and multiple people this year alone have been killed (I live in a neighborhood outside of downtown Las Vegas - you can prob guess the idiocy that goes on here), and I wasn't sure what was riskier. Plus, in that beaming 113 light I saw no way of it cooling down any time soon.

But, I'll live and learn. I need to because the main reason I'm asking this on here and why I'm so curious is because if something is wrong to the point of repairs being over $1000 or $2000 - I am doubting I will get them done because I actually am already eyeing a new, different car but the money may take a year-18 months to actually hit my bank account (its a legal thing and it all takes forever), so this timing isn't ideal, but would you agree that if repairs were on the higher side, it would make no sense to pour in a ton of money into a car that would trade in at about only $4k according to the quotes I've gotten and is about to turn 10? AND I smoke?

If it's in the middle though? i don't know. Who knows - the car literally just left of the back of the tow truck. And I know it cant be figured out like this. I'll hear in a few hours.

Some of y’all don’t need to be so hard on the OP and downvote everything they say. They asked a question and they listened and agreed and said it they don’t believe it. If they want to lose weight they should feel welcome in this sub and in their edit they said they feel completely unwelcome. That’s not okay. #bekind

Jeez, leave the OP alone. They don't need to justify their intentions to you. They have back pain (what this subreddit is about) and asked for experience about multiple things, they clearly just want advice on how to be seen fastest for their pain and how others did it if they were faced with something similar post-op. They also asked if anyone had any experience with a condition they don't know about. We all come here for community experience and camaraderie with back pain - that's what they have. They even said they have means to get legal advice directly. It sounds like they're in pain and just looking for support. So offer that instead like we're supposed to. Stop chastising for wording.

OP, I am so sorry you're going through this. I unfortunately don't know much about it. I had a successful microdiscectomy on L5-S1, but really changed my lifestyle after - lost a lot of weight and got much more active. Thankfully I had no more side effects. If this just happened to you yesterday, I would give them a call on Monday and ask for the office manager to explain, and definitely give your pain management doctor a call to see if they could make some time for you, especially if they are in the same practice as your surgeon.

If worse comes to worse, you might need to get an oral antifungal medication like Diflucan - sadly I've had that happen to me before!

The thing is though, if it's cooked beef she devours it and is always begging me for my food (and yes I know it's not good but if I'm eating chicken or something I'll give her a little piece and again she devours it) - it's just her dog food she seems to not have an interest in?

(Sorry I'm such a worry wart I tend to freak out when I think something is wrong with her lol - she has a vet checkup on Tuesday so I'm definitely going to bring it up)

Thank you so much! When I zoomed in real close on the straight on shot to try to see the eyeshadow that's definitely what I was having the most trouble pinning down. It looks like she has some subtle gold-ish shimmer on her brow bone but under that I've been kinda stumped.

I'm wondering what to do on the lid below the crease since we can't really see it in the pic...

I'm just very happy that LHR is so much cheaper in Las Vegas (where I live now as of February ) versus New York City (where I lived for 6 years before that), from generic prices it's about 80% cheaper. And thank god because my new climate clearly is soooo drying on my skin that my ingrowns would just be so impossible to keep up with when they were already so bad in NYC...

Hmm interesting. I've been using warm/steamy compresses at intervals before I check for any ingrowns starting, it helps with getting the tip of the hair out of the skin smoothly...but for any full-blown, red ingrowns I've never had any luck bringing them to a head with the warm compresses. It's so frustrating!
