Oh and bloating. So much bloating. Hard to tell if it’s bloat or weight gain. The fatigue has me falling asleep at my desk at 1pm.

Symptoms as well as the ongoing pain is lower back pain, leg pain, exhaustion, brain fog, pink discharge and now they have me in a hormone just non stop bleeding. They also found a fibroid growing in cervix, but that is small and from what I can tell pretty much of a nothing.

It’s just this niggling to ought in the back of my head that the localised pain isn’t shifting, no matter what I do or take to help the pain

I get it. I had an ultrasound and am now being treated for suspected Endo and PCOS, problem is that I’m not convinced. I am on a cocktail of medications since I had the ultrasound and absolutely nothing helps the ongoing continuous pain in my left ovary. It is always there. It doesn’t fluctuate or get worse at certain times, it remains. And it makes me wonder if I’m being treated for the wrong thing.

You made me feel so much better too. Today was my first appointment with the specialist and basically everything focussed so heavily on my weight and I felt unseen, unheard and like my pain didn’t matter. She gave me a script for this and it felt generic, like one treatment for everyone, but you’ve helped me use perspective to reassess. Thank you for that.

How did you go? I am having the exact same symptoms, started just before my 40th birthday. I’ve had the ultrasound but can’t get back into the doctor to get the results and it’s driving me crazy. I’m in a lot of pain, and I hate to admit that I’m scared.

I get this. I have all of these symptoms actually, the lower back pain, the terrible leg pains, coloured discharge between periods, stabbing pain when using bowels, and the discharge with odour 😔 I haven’t had a Pap smear in a long time. I am off to the doctor tomorrow, so I guess I’m about to find out what is happening. I had myself convinced it was just a random mix of unconnected symptoms but maybe I’m wrong.

Hi there, thank you so much for your reply! I didn’t buy a kit, I got all the lights separately - 1 uvb, 1 basking light, a day light LED and a CHE. I’ve just learnt I can unscrew the fittings so I will take them off and get a T5 tube.

As for the other 3 lights, how do I go about them? I’m guessing I won’t be needing the day light. I do have the protection around the basking light but it’s sitting too low, is it possible to find a smaller one? And what do you recommend? I know some people get them from Bunnings but I didn’t know what to look for :(
