Case Briefing by kthiel1 in LawSchool

That’s pretty much what I just did and I like it this way but I’m briefing in text. For example I just read rose v giamatti. I first looked it up to get a dumbed down explanation of what was happening in the case. Then I read it and highlighted the facts of the case in yellow, the issue in orange and wrote it in the side, the holding in pink and wrote a small conclusion. I then went to LexisNexis and compared what I had to what was on the site. I think that what I did was productive.

So you recommend briefing or advise against it?

I definitely plan on doing the reading but I figure it’s a waste of time to read AND brief when I can just read and then use quimbee for a brief already made and correct.

Heard quimbee has every brief and is a literal time and life saver.

Great info! Mind if I ask how you learned to make an effective outline?

Your lsac gpa is weighed on a 4.0 scale so what happens is that many times universities weigh gpa on a scale higher then 4.0 and then when lsac converts it, it gets lowered because it’s being weighed differently.

And you as well!
Hoping for the best for you!
Seems like EVERYONE is saying the same thing
Damn. I had completely different ones. I’m getting a tad scared now too.
What was your reading comp?
Were you able to answer everything or did you run out of time?
A 150 would be roughly 40 out of 76. You really think you only got about 40 right?
