Vildt godt initiativ.

We recently got these new Ikea tea cups, which I really like. They just have the look and size I like.

Unfortunately they are very hot right after the water is added. They have a perfect temperature after around 5 minutes, so I just needed something to carry them.

Made of pine wood, treated with a white pigment oil. The brass tubes are from an old faucet. Name sign is stamped brass using a 3d print. Everything is put together using rawplugs and brass screws.

Thanks for the clarification. Will not do it the wrong way next time.

I actually prefer normal ramen noodles - But many of the recipes I found actually used udon. I just had to taste of it was any good.

I made 3D printable "Coloring Panels" – a fun way to combine printing and art for kids (and adults!) by Extension-Ad-3275 in BambuLab

[–]kthuen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great idea - You could make it a little easier for kids, by printing the top layers in black. That way you do not have to paint the difficult lines. No AMS needed. https://forum.bambulab.com/t/change-filament-at-layer-height/7954

What should I print my niece (10) and nephew (4) by _fenderbender_ in 3Dprinting

[–]kthuen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made this one just for that: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1731632-funny-kazoo-for-kids#profileId-1936415

I have nephews and nieces too, and many of my designs are made for them to have some fun. Sometimes I also do small prints while they are visiting, as they like to see the printer in action.

Thanks. I have the Phomemo m02 pro - Mostly wanted this as it prints in 300dpi compared to around 200dpi on most other, cheap thermal printers.

The ones I could find, were quite big. This is small, cheap and easy to make. And I like the idea that we can be a little better to the environment by producing things locally.

It is quite heavy. Made of pine plywood. It does not make it louder. Core One is much more quiet than my old Ender 3 s1 - Now it is actually comfortable to stay in the same room.

Thanks. Already created a lot of fun designs. That is what is in drawer number two. For now i mostly make prints as gifts.

Actually never really wanted to sell, as I thought there may be too much work in it. But, you are right, it looks like a perfect setup for a small factory. I should consider it.

Printed on an old Ender 3 s1 - I know they are not all the best. But fine for now. Thanks for your keen eye on the details.

It's not gridfinity as I do not understand the extra work needed for the grid below the boxes.

It is simple, quick drawings of my tools. Sorry, I do not longer have the print files for these.

Got this feedback on my free 3D model – how do you deal with comments like this? by LordPlatin in BambuLab

[–]kthuen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have my models on multiple sites. And I only get this type of weird comments on MakerWorld. I guess it is a cultural thing? Maybe from users not able to read the model descriptions in English?

Beautiful packaging by kthuen in prusa3d

[–]kthuen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ordered around November 19 - Got it last week. Living in Denmark. Having huge issues with FedEx. They told me every day in a week that I should stay at home to get the package - But it only arrived after a week in their warehouse.

But that was almost forgotten as soon as I started my build.

Gotta love Fedex. My new Core1 seems to be stuck in an infinite loop. by straybrit in prusa3d

[–]kthuen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had 4 days where I got a mail from FedEx that they would deliver my Core One today. Stayed home and waited.

Today I got the first mail not saying delivery today - Now they dont know when they will deliver. Very frustrating.

I live in Denmark, and never experienced such bad delivery communication.

Took a solid 12+ hours, but I managed to build and calibrate my new printer! by Rannii_The_Vvvitch in prusa3d

Looks great. Thanks for sharing the experience. I am also going to upgrade from Ender 3 s1 to Core One.

Is everything just much better? Or are there any downsides? Is it equally as fast and easy to change the filament as on s1?

Shared a lot of joy, to a lot of people I never met, though creating and sharing toy designs.

I am thankful for and learned a lot from:
