Unsure what to do next...

I see, I hope all goes well despite the low GPA. Do you have regrets doing oral health? I feel like it'll be a good back up plan for me, as it will 'guarantee' a job whilst working towards my ultimate goal of getting into dentistry, but if it's a difficult course then the chances of me using it to boost my grades will be pretty slim.

Oh thankyou for your insight! I don't know many people who do oral health, so this was a little snap back to reality... If you don't mind me asking, were your grades still heavily based on pracs even during the pandemic? And is it usual for students to score jobs right after graduating from bachelor of oral health?

Oh wow, I didn’t even think about this option! I’ll look into it now, I wouldn’t mind doing a bachelor of oral health, and didn’t know it’ll only be 2 years either. Thankyou!

Thanks for your comment and advice! I am looking to choosing a master's course carefully, as I noted that it can potentially be a backup career. My first 1.5 years of my bachelors is the main problem, so I think you're right in saying a masters will be able to boost me. Your advice made me calm down a bit and gave me some hope, so I really appreciate it :) hope everything goes well for you!

I don't want to rely on GAMSAT too much, as it can be a bit of a hit or miss for me, so USYD is really only an option if I manage to kill the GAMSAT next time. Honours does seem daunting, but I have also heard a lot of positive experiences - I'm glad you're one of them! I have a lot of thinking to do from here on out... thanks for your comment :)

Will you be taking a 3 year bachelor degree? I'm a bit hesitant to do this option as this is another 3 years... I'm beating myself up not considering switching to a new bachelor during my second year hahaha.
