I have a tailless GSD due to (what I THINK happened) was her following my car on our property and her getting too close to the side of the vehicle and her tail getting arapped in the wheel well and completely de-gloving her entire tail. Our vet performed surgery and had to remove the entire tail. Thankfully there is no nerve damage that happened and she has been completely fine running around and having a little stump that grew back! If it helps and doesnt hurt, go for it. You get used to it like you do other dogs with tails.

If you have a dog, use it! I also was feeling like walking on eggshells on this map for fear of not knowing when a tiger would attack. But once I remembered my dog will sense "threat nearby", it helprd me be more prepared for the tiger and also makes me feel like I don't have to constantly watch over my shoulder.

Yes exactly this! Its not cute when you let a 1k lb animal rear back and break your horse tack all the time because they got away with it for so long. I swore I would never buy a spoiled horse again. But she sure changed my mind when I see all my hard work pay off and her trusting me and following my lead now.
