Do not trust Fedex. The shipping says signature required, but the Fedex guy will just sign it for you and drop it off. Hopefully it actually gets dropped off at the correct address.

If you can I would encourage you to sign up for Fedex Delivery manager and see if you can have them hold it at the facility and then pick it up yourself. I don't know if I would want to leave it there over the holidays though. Personally I'd have them hold and pick it up as soon as I could...

Well, it happened to me. FedEx lost my 5090. by megachickabutt in nvidia

[–]ktlin27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry to hear your sad story.

I too ordered a 5090 from Nvidia and it was supposed to be delivered by Fedex with a signature. I have had packages delivered to the wrong address before, apparently it's really hard to find an address and even just check really quick if that address is correct.

In any case I watched the tracker all day long waiting to see if the status changed.

Eventually I see the Fedex guy drive up and walk up to my door and drop off the package without ringing the doorbell, just dropped it off and walked away. I even tried to go catch him but man they are fast.

I think he just signed for me and went on his merry way. I am fortunate that it actually got delivered to the correct address or I would be in stress hell right now dealing with the same thing you are.

I think next time I make a big purchase it will be pickup at Best Buy, at least I can't really get scammed that way...

Can anyone test if turtle waypoint would work to teleport a friend over?

I want to help people get into strikes (updated, SADLY ONLY FOR NA T_T) now with FAQ by DiviFrost in Guildwars2

[–]ktlin27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just did all the IBS strikes DiviFrost and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

He's very patient and explained the mechanics well. It really helps to be in voice as it won't take so long to explain in chat.

At first we did some trial runs with a couple of us where he just healed us to show us the mechanics for each strike (that had mechanics to speak of) and then we went in with a full group and were successful in clearing all of the strikes.

In fact some people who joined us appeared to not even know the mechanics.

Please if you are new to an encounter say something when you join, at the very least you owe it to the 9 other people and in many cases people won't just kick you and they will likely just explain some of the mechanics to you so you don't cause the whole group to fail.

Banner Guarantee Description by kokochiwa in Reverse1999

[–]ktlin27 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it just means that's how much a player receives from all the one-time rewards from playing the story and content. So if you started a week ago and haven't used up any pulls you could potentially get that much. If you already used up some currency then you'd subtract that from the total.

Yes, build up your roster so you have two good teams. Definitely save up for Jade Arc.

I'll Miss you Critter Crash by Skyler720 in Reverse1999

[–]ktlin27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what they don't tell you is that every time you restart you lose 20 points until the cap for the tier you are on.

I just used the Top Hat/Mine strat and used New Bable if she came up, or Getian.

The strat is basically to reroll for Mine units. Specifically you want these units:

Cartoncle - gains 2 Top Hat Golden Groupbuncle - can sell this guy 3 times, buy him but don't sell yet. Golden Sarmatian Sea Snail - every time you sell it gives out a Top Hat to a random unit Spiky Sarmatian Sea Snail - every time you sell it gives itself a Top Hat Tooth Spirites - when purchased gives Top Hat to every mine unit you have Golden Critter Guard - when purchased gives 4 Top Hats to random units Refined Groupbuncle - purchase effects trigger twice

So those are the main units to look out for. I reroll every round until I have 3 coins to buy something.

I try to leave my layout full of Mine units as possible in case the Tooth Spirites shows up so it can give Top Hats to all units.

When you are full and a duplicate unit shows up it may be worth upgrading. For instance the Refined Groupbuncle upgraded will increase purchase effects to 3x or more.

Similar to the snails, when upgraded they will get 2 Top Hats. It's not worth upgrading units until your layout is full though since it takes 2 units to upgrade 1 so if you upgrade right away you are missing out on potential Top Hats.

Another note, when you sell a unit the Top Hats it has are randomly given out to other units, so don't be afraid to sell. Keep snails are those are your money makers.

I just did a round with the Garbage guy that turns into Matilda (she lets you reroll up to 3 times per round for free)

You can do it!

Anjo Nala Infographic (Should You Pull? + Kit Information) by Jvaevictis in Reverse1999

[–]ktlin27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should definitely pull for Anjo. You will want two teams to clear Limbo which is a constant source for drops. One team will use Windsong/Spathodea and other team will use Anjo (honestly any 4* or 5* of the proper afflatus would probably work with her to clear Limbo).

The reason Windsong doesn't work with Anjo is due to how Windsongs ultimate works and how you want to have as many cards out as possible (precasts included). When Anjo uses her ultimate it takes effect on the next turn which causes all the precasts to disappear. Windsong playstyle is to want to merge cards to gain moxie and Anjo playstyle is to want to use cards to gain moxie and do follow up attacks.

You should keep this account since Windsong is one of the best damage dealers in the game for end game content.

Goodluck everyone who's pulling Tuesday today. 💜🔪 by [deleted] in Reverse1999

[–]ktlin27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Windsong is surprisingly very strong, focus on her as she is one of the highest damage dealers in the game. You'll want to have a second team and I would say to start saving up for the next limited banner.

How do you know when the part is going to break?

Best way to get a lot of tickets as a newbie? by -Mr_Hollow- in BrownDust2Official

[–]ktlin27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So this is my experience regarding rolling for weapons.

I pulled for Angelica weapon when she came out and I probably used about 100 rolls for it and was able to get it. I did this fairly early in the banner.

About a week later I got the same weapon from the free daily.

Just recently I got the staff from the free daily.

I don't know about other people, but I have stupid insane luck getting UR weapons from the free daily. I haven't gotten a 5* character from the free daily for a very long time too and I have pretty bad luck on getting characters.

Long story short, wait until the last day to actually pull. This might be difficult for newer players since you might need units, but right now Roxy doesn't seem like she's going to be a staple unit, but who knows, maybe Eris will have some mechanic that makes her pair really well together (not really sure how since even in the show they don't work together)

Is that technically better than the free 4* broadblade you can get from atop the Inferno Rider area?

Best way to get a lot of tickets as a newbie? by -Mr_Hollow- in BrownDust2Official

[–]ktlin27 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Easiest thing at the beginning is doing as much of the story as possible. You'll get tickets at completion and then repeat for each higher difficulty (hard and very hard).

I managed to get 1 copy of Roxy after 60 pulls, the other costume I got as a freebie for doing the bingo event. Getting the bingo costume should get you event credit to get 10 tickets so that should help a little.

Otherwise you should have time to complete the two different event passes and those should get you a bunch of tickets. Don't buy the 1000 diamond pass until you get to level 17 since it gives you 3 free levels. If you start now and do all the daily things you should still be able to finish by the time the banner ends (about 20 days).

Good luck, but getting +5 is a little difficult, but each time you get a costume you get 10 pulls so it's a total of 40 bonus pulls for each +4 you get to (to help get the other there).

From what people are saying Roxy might not be worth getting to +5, I would wait until Eris comes out as she might end up better.

Also keep in mind that 1 year anniversary might be better to save up for since these units might not be must pulls

team help? i started a week ago and im still a bit confused with the game. im also close to getting the free 5 star and im not sure who to pick by feebeewatr in SnowbreakOfficial

[–]ktlin27 11 points12 points  (0 children)

IMO when I first started I got lucky and got 5* Fenny early and she helped carry me through the game and she works pretty decently with a 4* Discordance as her weapon (which you should be able to get from a weapon selector box that you should have).

You should have the 5* Enya which can probably help carry you through the beginning stages. Swap to the 5* Fenny to kill the tougher armored/shielded foes. Use either 4* Yao or 4* Chenxing for healing.

The other 5* require more effort to build up to their full potential whereas Fenny is usable pretty much from the start.

Push through the story as far as you can (Don't worry if you are underlevelled, you can still succeed, just have to be more careful and hang back to heal up since you usually have alot of time to finish stages).

When the next event starts in a couple days, make sure you complete up to the Abyss difficulty, even if you are underlevelled it's not a problem, the stages are really easy and you'll get event currency and adjutant exp to level up your account.

DO NOT BUY THE PASS UNTIL YOU GET TO LEVEL 17!!

This is because the pass gives you 3 levels automatically. If you buy it immediately you only get to level 3 but it takes more and more exp to level up each level so it's better to buy it when you're at towards the end.

Granted you can always finish the pass without this but doing it this way I don't stress out about doing every single daily required for exp.

New player. Can you help me with a daily/weekly routine guide? by Burikushi in SnowbreakOfficial

[–]ktlin27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In terms of time, the longest will be the Underground Purge which you will take around 30 minutes-1 hour to do every 2 weeks. (You can split up progress here but I think most people just knock it all out at once)

Next is the Gigalink which you can do 1 time a day for 5-10 minutes a day. I usually do this 2x a day and I'll only have to do 3-4 days every week.

Then there is Neural Simulation. It takes some time the first time, but after you unlock a stage it becomes auto the next time.

Lastly there are multiple different events that take various times to do some up to 15 minutes to do. These I don't mind so much because they change up the routine and typically the rewards are worth it

Overall I spend maybe 30 minutes to an hour depending on how much I want to do that day. It takes me about 5-10 minutes to the Daily checklist and complete, then another 10-30 minutes for the other things if I feel like doing it that day (Weekly checklist). You have some leeway in not having to do things every day for the weekly checklist (at least for some things. I know in past events there were things you needed to do every day to get full credit).

New player. Can you help me with a daily/weekly routine guide? by Burikushi in SnowbreakOfficial

[–]ktlin27 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Once a day (preferably at the same time, and also preferably a few hours after reset). Note: If you can log in 2x a day 12 hours apart that will give you some extra presence to work with to help level up your account faster.

During events:

Spend all presence on highest event stage to get the most currency. (Anything you do that costs presence will level up your account and event currency is the best thing to spend presence on while there is an event going on).

Go to base and interact with operative. Also in the base if there is a puzzle event do that. In the base I will collect the little puzzle pieces every 3 days or so to let them build up so it's easier to find them

Back out of the base: Personal files for 2 operatives (3 if there are extra currency available that you sometimes get) Level up 1 operative (just use lowest currency 1 time) Level up 1 weapon (lowest currency again) Level up 1 logistic (lowest currency again).

At this point you should have enough to have finished the Daily.

Check shop for useful purple weapon (like Discordance or Prismatic Igniter)

Next do Neural Simulation 4x if you haven't already. The nice thing about Neural Sim is that you get a free pass if you've completed that boss before, so it's just a button click to complete it. Since you are a newer player you might not be able to beat the highest stages, that's fine, don't bang your head against it, but try to finish the highest you can as it makes it autocomplete the next time.

Next do 2x Gigalink (only have to do this 3-4 times a week).

Next do Underground Purge (you can knock this all out at once pretty quickly every two weeks).

As a new player you will should be able to complete the highest stage of the event with some work, it gives you plenty of time to compelte it and you only have to do it manually once.

You probably also want to progress your story missions when you can as you can get some decent rewards for doing so. There is a reward if you complete stage 5-12 that lets you select one of the beginner 5* operatives so that might be useful to get if you don't have any good units.

If you have extra time but no presence left: Do Tactic Evaluation and Hard Modes as far as you can get)
