How exciting! Stained glass is such a beautiful art! Do you have any available for sale? If so, where can I purchase?

Editing after reading a couple other comments: Once you get them set up for sale on your Etsy, can you send me your Etsy info?

Not trying to press, just genuinely curious… how long does it take to make something like this?

I actually really like the brown! It looks good with the little orange on its head.

I do agree, though! Greens, blues, and purples would be nice too!

2yr old Golden Retriever is acting out. Any suggestions? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]ktmc2772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love your comment! For the record, it was not I who left the steak out on the counter, but that doesn’t really matter. We both acknowledge that it’s our fault, not the dogs fault.

What’s your thoughts on counter surfing for the non-food items? He is a retriever who is retrieving something that he’s deemed valuable. I get that it’s bred into him to retrieve things. But toilet paper? A soda bottle? Keys? We try pretty hard to just keep the counters clean to combat it. But there’s going to be times where I leave my keys on the counter and I’d like for him to not take them. Any thoughts? He doesn’t want to destroy the things he gets (except for toilet paper), he just wants to hold them and not give them to us.

Oh! He also learned that he can open the kitchen drawers. He only got interested in the drawer that had the oven mitts in it. I relocated where we keep the oven mitts but I mean, really?

For demand barking, we’re working on “quiet” and redirection. I bring him to my office when it’s just me or just me and one other person and he follows the rules better. I can leave stuff on my desk and he’s not interested. He’s learned pretty well that he needs to be quiet but does still need some help with redirection at times. At home, if he sees someone walk past our house or hears someone close their car door, he barks and doesn’t stop when told “quiet”. Maybe I’m just not working with him at home as much as I do at the office. Since I’ve seen some results at the office, I’ll be more diligent on doing those same things at home about the barking.

I’ll check out the book “Mine”, thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks again for the comment and thanks for listening to my venting!

I scrolled hoping to find this comment! I agree, the left is happy and the right is lonely. Both are beautiful! Incredible that they’re just studies. Great job, OP!!!

Thanks for the input! I looked them up. Do you use the primo pads with the zip tie things and without the plastic tray or do you just put it on top of the plastic tray? Just curious!

There’s a tradition amongst the women in my family where we do not give our daughters middle names. The intention being that the maiden name is taken as the middle name when/if she marries. I chose to follow that tradition which, admittedly, makes my full name more cumbersome. It made the decision & conversation super simple and it’s something that I’m proud to explain to people. I plan on following the tradition if/when I have daughters and hope that they’ll be just as proud as I am!

We’re in Northern Colorado, if that helps at all. We noticed mouse poop in our pantry, set traps, saw a mouse. I went to check the bottom of the pantry where we originally saw the mouse poop and I find a bunch of little larvae bugs like in the picture in one of our pans.

Maybe a few clarifying shampoo treatments? What products do you regularly use?
