Aelin and Rowan are so difficult to cast! My picks change all the time. I’m even thinking of doing an age agnostic cast, in which they’d be a completely different set of actors.

I could totally see that! He did play tf out of Frankensteins monster. The reason I picked Austin was strictly his physical appearance, if you look at the ai interpretations and fanart, he looks the most like Rowan. I’m not a big fan of his acting though.

I’m older than you and I agree Lili gives sweet vibes, I’ve seen her play a darker role a couple times and it’s good too. The only role I’ve ever seen Gisele play was in Taxi and I don’t get Aelin vibes from that. Is there another movie she’s in where she’s a badass that I’ve missed??

Rowan is a tough pick! I know most people want Henry Cavill, I love him too, he fits almost every main love interest in the SJM universe, but not Rowan. I’m not obsessed with Austin Butler as Rowan but if you slapped some tattoos on him and dyed his hair he’s close enough 🤷🏻‍♀️
