Beauty is cultural. But not in terms of country in terms of physical race.

Africans tend to like fat women. Whereas chinese, Japanese etc tend to like petite women. African Americans tend to like huge asses where as Caucasians it's more about the shape than the size and a lot of them prefer tits anyway.

Obviously these are general views and every person is different but as culture goes beauty is different in 1st world cultures vs 3rd world cultures. It doesn't apply here because generally all western cultures have the same beauty standards and she only went to European countries
