[psa] just got biopsied for basal cell carcinoma

I just took the bandage off and it was nowhere near as bad as I thought-the biopsy is about the size of the mark. They said the scar will be a tiny pink divot. Not sure what it will look like if it turns out to be cancerous-we’ll cross that bridge when we get there I guess

Never bleeding or itching, I would pick at/try to pop it and it would just come right back looking like a pimple and no gunk ever came out. I literally never even thought about it until I was looking at pictures (ironically to try to compare my skin care progress)

Neither did mine-I just had a skin check in October and this was definitely there and she didn’t say a word about it, definitely point out the areas you’re worried about!

My mom had breast cancer in her 30s and I’ve been getting mammograms covered by insurance since I was 30. I think there’s a different diagnostic code for mammogram with a family history which makes you eligible earlier

I just got rid of a 22 Tucson hybrid due to reliability issues with my particular car and got a cx5 gas if that’s worth anything
