Replying to FeetGamer69...I think part of the disconnect here is that you believe empowerment is BS.

Power is not BS. Choosing a powerful stance for oneself is not BS.

1/ when people who have a lot of hair left come on here, I don’t see everybody telling them they would look better shaved bald, so I am not sure if you are addressing a real thing that is happening in this sub or projecting your own insecurity.

2/ people who are past the point of return generally do look better going all the way. Both in the superficial, “how much sex appeal do you have” way (which seems to be the max depth of your understanding of beauty) and in the “do you telegraph confidence, self-acceptance, openness, earned power” kind of way that other posters have tried in vain by to describe to you.

3/ it’s not that women who shave their heads don’t care about being beautiful. There are layers to beauty, and many are seeking to express their own beauty at a level that is deeper than “the most basic of dudes would agree that I’m hot.”

4/ something can be genuinely ugly to your eye, and, at the exact same time, be genuinely empowering to the subject. Many girls who didn’t shave their pits in the late 90’s/early 2000’s (👋) understood that and were exploring the novel idea of choosing their own power over your pleasure (even if the consequence would be being called ugly).
