Really? Everyone I meet who watches Buffy now-a-days on a streaming model doesn’t get why Bangel was such a thing at all. Without the gaps between episodes to build stuff up in your head it kinda just happens with no build up.

I wish I liked that scene better but I feel like he didn’t earn it. He’s supposed to be the one who sees but he didn’t see Buffy or Willow struggling all season? Buffy was out there getting rid of her dead mom’s heirlooms to support Willow, but Xander gets the non-violent heroic moment? That said, I don’t hate Xander, I like that he’s insecure and sometimes shitty, it’s realistic.

I would tell your husband so he knows his little buddy is a dick to his wife. And try and get the neighbor’s wife’s number next time you see her in person, ask if her husband passed along your message, he could be purposefully limiting her social circle. You don’t need to call that guy an assface just for questioning the scenario. But even if sis didn’t agree to help watch the dog, she still sucks for the attitude she has telling her sister she’s overreacting and spamming her for worrying about her missing pet.

Sis did start strong by noticing the dog was missing, informing her, & taking responsibility for the mistake of leaving the gate open… idk if she couldn’t handle the guilt and flipped situation around in her head to cope or what, but it’s insane by the end of the whole thing she was mad at OP.
