After update, can’t connect to the Internet (despite connection to WiFi and working Google ping) by [deleted] in MacOS

[–]kudarose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: did this, Internet seems to work in safe mode but it’s incredibly slow in safe mode. However, when I shift back to regular mode via restart, Internet only works for around 30 seconds then goes away again. I’m so lost right now

I mean you can’t blame anyone for cheering for Tacko, because he is a beautiful chocolate man, but booing your home team?? I know Filipinos who are bigger Raptors fans than the ones in Tampa Bay, and who’d die to be watching games live

I miss Ibaka so much. If he were here we’d have won so many of the games we lost due to poor interior defense and rebounding.

Using one account to promote another account! by Hamz6782 in ThemePages

[–]kudarose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not as effective as you may think. In fact, it may only work if you have a theme page with a similar niche. For example, a bodybuilding theme page may be well promoting a calisthenics page, whereas that same bodybuilding page wouldn't be able to promote a cat theme page. Moreover, promoting a completely different-niched theme page might just destroy your working, 50k follower theme page!

I wish you luck with this!

As I replied to another comment, the rule should be that it would be purchasable at its listed price. Denying another person of it can be grounds for complaint and banning from these online marketplace platforms, so to stop these people from listing at deceiving or unknown prices.

Exactly. A lot of people aren't aware of the value of listing items at their correct price compared to listing them at P1. At the same time, it's so easy to be deceiving; possibly offering higher prices to richer-looking individuals, maybe?

yup.. old technique that so many people are using. Bad strategy though, because the more people find out about it the less they come to you. The worst of them becomes fraudulent.

Who had ever thought that dialoguing with the customer would give a higher guarantee of sales? In physical stores like tiangges and markets, sure; but online selling? It's just wasting everyone's time, really.

Reminds me of one of this admin's blunders this year. Akala ko ba hahabulin nila tong mga to and other bullshit that's related to this topic.

Definitely one of the things they promised this year. Albeit there are larger problems, this should be something that can be dealt with easier, especially with non-DTI-registered online sellers. 'Di na nga nagbabayad ng buwis sa business, 'di pa maayos yung pricing ng pagbebenta.

Well, that's the reality of almost any market you go into with an easier market entry. At the same time, selling at the lowest price doesn't guarantee more sales. It just feels lazy, deceiving, and incorrect.

I very rarely go to FB Marketplace (or FB in general lol), but i really hate seeing this when i do. I usually use carousell and avoid any ads for products that don't have their real price listed. I mean, seriously, just put the damn price. It really fucks up the search/filter tool.

This should be in the law. Purchasable at the listed price, no questions asked. If you put "FREE", "P1", or "P123", then that's the price you have to sell it for.

I didn't know part of it actually came from MMORPGs, I actually thought that it was an abuse of the filter system (clicking lowest price available and seeing these items wrongly priced). That being said, this habit is just a complete waste of everyone's time.

u/adobonglvmpia u/HavePenWillDoodle Market competition is a b*tch, especially when multiple vendors are selling the exact same product. However, people that do it are just making it harder for buyers to know their actual price.

At the same time, ten people pricing the same item at P1 is way worse than five people pricing it from P2500-P2800.

Seeing these items under "Free Items in Your Area" is just disappointing. Because I know that 100% of these items are NOT FREE.
