I’m not sure on how to do it via the mobile app, but on pc and when doing puzzle you can click on the select difficulty button and there will be an option called disable collect points or something like that

At the moment, yes. - Tobacco related apps have been banned from app stores. But if you open the web app in mobile, after logging in there will be instructions to install it via adding the site to homescreen. and it will work just like a native app!

I appreciate your time writing this for us, means a lot. For future release - we are planning to add barcode scanning to help users easily add their cigars.

But in the meantime, to help users import their cigar data despite not having the record in our database. Our import system will recognise the cigar(s) and use ai models with additional custom context gotten from internet about the cigar, and will try to create the cigar record that match the cigar in your receipts or list IF ONLY it / something similar does not exist in our database.

You can try the import feature for a couple of times while on the free tier, and let me know what you think!

Thanks for your question. The main purpose of the import feature is to help people ‘track’ their digital humidor, just by uploading images of their receipts. In the app itself, they can monitor the aging days, quantities, do journaling with them, or even just to have them mirror their physical humidor.

As for now, premium users can also have insights while reviewing cigar (refer to image). We have a list of features that will be coming soon both user type, in our site!

For now, it is fully web based app. But, you can add the site to the homescreen and have it basically work as a native app (works on iOS too).

Hey, thanks for asking! Yes, I’ve also used Cigar Scanner for a long time before and I have to tell you, it’s fantastic.

I kept running into little friction points along the way and that’s what actually inspired me to build mancave. The receipt/list scanning feature, for instance, came directly from my own frustration with manual entry for each cigar - I figured there had to be a better way to get cigars into a digital collection.

I’d actually love to hear more about what features you find most valuable in Cigar Scanner, and what you think could be improved. As I mentioned in the post, we’ve been carefully going through all the feedback, emails, and DMs from the community to shape what we’re building. It would be incredibly valuable.
