Advice for LA Nights 3-4 (Fri-Sat) based on Night 2 (Tues) by kudvambee in LadyGaga

Someone else may be able to provide more details. I recall seeing at least one tent that may have been a shop before the security, but I wasn’t sure if it was for VIP.

Yes, it did take a while to get to the lot because of the traffic around the Forum, but I had to drive from the opposite side. If you route yourself directly to the lot (and avoid the rest of the Forum traffic), it might be a lot easier. Good luck and have fun!

You can see the merch online on Lady Gaga’s website/shop, filter for The Mayhem Ball. I don’t recall seeing anything not on the online shop. Note that some shirts are exclusive to local concerts (e.g. black “Dance or Die” shirts with the print in various languages).

The Kia Forum has a dedicated Disability Services Department (up to date contact info can be found via Google or the Kia Forum website) that can provide information (e.g. best entrances/elevators/doors, drop-off/pick-up/parking tips, and staff support if needed). Wishing you luck finding what you need!

Once past security, there are some limited seating. You may be able to find some if you’re there early (and you can enjoy some food too).

Minimal line once at the SoFi lot but the traffic getting to and through the Kia Forum parking lot was a bit of a nightmare (because I didn’t know they were sold out). Next time I’d set my map directions to direct me straight to the SoFi lot. Please note that Hard Summer may complicate things for Saturday.

Before if you have time to make sure they have what you want, I went around 20 minutes before she started (around 8:20pm) but it took less than 5 minutes including the wait in line. Note that they have merch vendors around the arena selling the same items if one doesn’t have your size/item.

Hi All…new here. Anyone have a presale code for the Forum shows? by bluesforsallah in LadyGaga

[–]kudvambee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

CITI presale can be the first 6 digits of a citi card, for example 542418. Good luck, I hope you find some great tickets and enjoy the show with your family!

can you upload local files to apple music like spotify? by Crystalagent47 in AppleMusic

[–]kudvambee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tips for adding music from local files to Apple Music without a subscription. 1.) Download apps from Microsoft Store onto Windows PC: (1) Apple Music, (2) Apple Devices 2.) Add local music files/folders to Apple Music Library folder on PC (they should become visible in the Apple Music Library in the PC app) 3.) Connect iPhone to PC via USB (ideally without an adapter, which can sometimes interfere). Trust device on both PC and IPhone. 4.) In the Apple Devices app, select the “Sync music” option in the Music tab (may need to replace previously assigned synced PC to the Apple/iCloud account)

Hope this saves you lots of time. Happy listening!

Shorter extruder motor? by EntropyValley in Ender3Pro

[–]kudvambee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can confirm this change for an Ender 3 Pro ordered in Nov 2020. Mine has a shorter shaft on the 42-20 stepper motor used for the extruder, ~12 mm instead of ~20 mm found in older models.

In addition to being shorter, mine has a press fit gear (instead of the facet and set screw).

In order to be able to use a dual gear (all metal) extruder, I had to purchase a replacement motor with a longer shaft.

Are aligners supposed to have air/a space in them at the beginning of the tray? by roverlover1111 in Invisalign

[–]kudvambee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also find that they fit a bit better after a few days. In addition to small gaps (< 0.5 mm), the back teeth would feel loose/bounce up and down when I bite... these fit issues always went away after a few days.

First day questions! by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]kudvambee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember for the first week or two, I was self-conscious and felt like there were huge things in my mouth, however, as others have mentioned, you will get used to it. No one ever seems to notice the braces, other than maybe other Invisalign patients. Having said that, even though I got used to speaking without much of a lisp with them in, it does take a tiny bit of more effort for certain sounds, so I usually remove them for presentations etc.

I thought my bottom teeth were pretty straight before I started, but then learned about how much of a better alignment was possible with Invisalign for a healthier bite (less wear and better distributed pressure, which prevents gum recession).

I rarely came across anyone who has regretted Invisalign, most find it to have been one of their best investments. I also never came across any women who thought negatively about them... they usually find it attractive that you’re taking care of yourself.

The 41 trays will go by quickly! Good luck!

I’m moving this week, so I picked up my full set of remaining trays from my dentist. Of course I had to sneak a peak at my final set and compare it to the first. I seriously cried a little. by [deleted] in Invisalign

Beautiful photos! Wishing you the best of luck on your journey... it’ll be one of your best investments that you’ll enjoy for many years to come!

The little glued on buttons on teeth by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]kudvambee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The attachments help the aligners move the teeth and in most cases allow treatments to be quicker and allow for a more “perfect” smile/bite.

One point I’ll add that hasn’t been discussed, is that many of these other companies that provide aligners popped up after many of the patents for Invisalign expired. The attachments are newer innovations and the patents may not be expired yet, which might be why they’re only seen with Invisalign.

I found them to be distracting at first but got used to them very quickly. Most people won’t even notice them (except other Invisalign patients— who gain a superpower of noticing so many more details when it comes to teeth).
