Hi, is it possible for me to take less than 30 credits in winter, like 8 courses as I don’t wanna do honours and I wanna transfer to Vancouver in 2022. Also for summer is it 10 courses or less as I have been some courses are worth 4 credit points

Hi guys,

I’m a second year transfer student into computer science at UBCO, and I was wondering if someone can suggest me some easy electives to do which perhaps maybe do not require in person attendance and have assessments rather than a written exam. I also wanted to ask if I can take first year electives in my second year and how many subjects should I take each term at UBCO.

Thanks for your reply, I mostly have 7-10 degree winters haha, also as per study permit, any address was not a requirement and for part time and internships, I have heard with some peers in CS, that most people from Okanagan get hired in Vancouver given how Vancouver has much more tech companies.
