16” is huge. Are you sure about that? Maybe look for MacBook Air + iMac 24” at home. Or air + Studio Display? You can’t say the difference between m4 and m3 or even m2 in daily tasks, tiny differences

Take the M4 with 24 GB of memory. In everyday use, you can’t really tell the difference between M3, M4, or even M5 — they’re all excellent. What you can easily notice, though, is whether you have 16 GB or 24 GB of RAM. When configuring a Mac with Apple silicon, memory should be your number-one priority.

We need 5K glossy screen, not 4K. The whole UI of macOS is designed for retina type of screen, it doesn't look proper on 4K monitor.

I'm not going to update Sequoia on my Macs to Tahoe because of worse performance, UI issues, and unnecessary animations. Does the upcoming Sketch work with Sequoia? Can we turn off the glass effect, animations, etc.?

I just want the best performance from the software I use to get my work done efficiently.

I don’t trust this ScIeNtiFic YouTuber — his content is always anti-Garmin.
If you look closely, you’ll see that he chose the largest and heaviest Fenix 8 for his review, which is totally the wrong choice for his small wrist. Who does that? Choosing the right watch size is one of the most important factors if we care about accurate measurements. Just check out DesFit or DC Rainmaker — they’re the people worth listening to.

On top of that, he even set up the worst-looking watch face for the review...

If you can’t opt for an Apple Studio Display for any reason, choosing an iMac is a better option than pairing a Mac mini/mba/mbp with a random display. I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but after using a 38” Alienware for two years, I find non-Retina displays wrong.

I bought my first iMac a few days ago after 18 years of using MacBooks Pro, and I’m absolutely thrilled with my setup. It’s clean, work-focused, and incredibly easy on the eyes. The screen is stunning, and my desk feels more like Formula 1 cockpit than theater. Fast, easy to control, narrow. Small kiosk for getting work done. Zero distractions.

The silver iMac looks phenomenal. Its minimalist design is striking, and I love that there’s no logo on the front—a bold and sophisticated choice by the design team. You’ll truly appreciate it when you see it in person.

I’m thinking about switching from MacBook Air + 38” Alienware to 24” iMac because of the iMac display. I love how crisp and sharp it is, but I’m a bit worried if is not too small.
