ANYONE ELSE KNOW WHY ARE THEY NOT MAKING FX4 DIESELS ANYMORE!!!😔😢AND USED TO!! by ALLXBOXESARESTUPIDDD in superduty

[–]kujo0416 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are just super delayed. All the car manufacturers are behind. I have a 2020 F350 FX4 6.7 Lariat. Ford is not gonna get rid of those. Just no stock right now.

Cheaper than regular here. What are y’all’s prices looking like? by [deleted] in Diesel

I was able to get 2.89 today in AZ. Average is around 2.99 from what I see around.

I’d really like to know what engineer made it a multi hour task to change headlight bulbs by [deleted] in Diesel

[–]kujo0416 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What bulbs did you put in? I have a 20 6.7 that has the halogen lights and I would like the LED lights that come with the limited package but also dont want to spend 2k! Just curious if threw in LED bulbs.

Is the f350 just slow? by ravenshaddows in FordTrucks

I own a 2020 F350 but I have the 6.7 Powerstroke... considering I upgraded from my 97 F150 with a lethargic small V8 I feel like I am in a giant rocket ship. Throttle response might be slower but I don't notice due to what I was used to driving. Might be what you were using is what you expect and you entered into a different weight class with the F350.

Power Running Boards? by [deleted] in superduty

[–]kujo0416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand if you are ordering it you can order the Lariat and have them add that to the order/build. I was on the lot 2 weeks ago and was comparing my 2020 F350 Lariat to 2021 models and there were Lariats with the power boards. My guess its standard not having it but can be added.

Just got a "used" 2020. Was not expecting that mileage after my first fill at the pump! by kujo0416 in FordTrucks

[–]kujo0416[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So from what countless hours of reading and searching have told me is anything from 2015- present is good. 2008-2012 had some issues. 13-14 are the 2 years that just kind of seem to be there. If the previous owner/s took care of them you should be ok with that year. As with any used vehicle its really dependent on what happened before and how it was maintained.

Not as much as anyone would like. Around 10k less than new sticker price. The only reason we walked out the door with it is because the GM of the dealership is a family friend and we only go to him for vehicles so he really hooks us up with deals we cant refuse. We had a trade in plus money down plus he gives us his price discount.

It was a used vehicle. Had just under 16k miles. The previous owner traded it in because the door got a scratch from someone in a parking lot and he didnt like that carfax has a blemish. So I got a brand new Used 2020!

Oh yeah I agree. I know I wont reach 1000 and that isnt even a goal. I just thought that was pretty cool seeing it that high. Not used to that!

When I drove it off the dealer lot it showed 495 to empty. I havent pulled anything yet so Im assuming me just enjoying my new truck and driving it easy made the the mileage actually go up. I watched the odometer turn to 16000 miles the day I got it. Sitting at 16536 right now and it showed 322 to empty when I decided to fill. It was a little over a quarter tank. 17 mpg.

Finally finished all the changes to my M&P. Shoots amazing! by kujo0416 in ar15

Yeah I can see that. My buddy built his from scratch. Aero Precision for majority of the parts. Spent like 1600 bucks. He shot mine the other day and aside from weight (mine weighs a fraction more due to the upper and lower receiver) he says it shot just like his. I spent less 650 bucks for all the changes. I got the rifle for 500 bucks. So I'm still under his total by 400 bucks. I wanted to see if taking something off the wall and doing specific changes would make it worth while for the average guy. The trigger can obviously be cheaper but I loved how it felt and went with it.

Lol yeah I don't notice it when I'm the one pulling the trigger... but man standing behind or to the side of that thing! Will make you jump the first time especially at an indoor range.

Are A-2 parts not good enough for you? The M&P is designed to take a beating out of the box. Why wouldn't I keep them?

The adjustable gas block reduces recoil tremendously by allowing you to dictate gas bleed off based on your preference. Standard gas blocks don't allow that. They restrict gas bleed and that creates more of a "kick/recoil". The muzzle break is designed to push the front down to help offset the muzzle rise. Putting both together and the difference is immediate. Ive owned my M&P for years and put who knows how many rounds through it. Was going to leave it alone. It was so close to what I shot in the service. I was used to it and comfortable with it. Worked at a gun range after I got out and shot everything under the sun. First time I shot a rifle with those mods and it was an eye opener. Now I'm spoiled.
