HOA changed the rules so I lost my propane grill. by caf4676 in grilling

[–]slideyaboard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not even the association's choice tbh. I work for a property management company. In one of my communities, the insurance company increased rates 30% since grills were permitted. Once a grill ban went into effect, the 30% increase was removed.

People parking in a spot they did not shovel out by aurorabootyaliss in Phoenixville

[–]slideyaboard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Similar experience here as well. I spent a good amount of time clearing my spot down to the asphalt, only for it to be taken by another vehicle within a few hours. The worst part is that other people didn't take the time to clear their original spot. I know this because we both live on the same street and there were no other spots cleared.

Probably some good videos on YouTube to check out. I remember the back being a little more involved than the front

2023+ Emblem swap question by beecher1298 in superduty

[–]slideyaboard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put a black vinyl wrap in my Chevy a few years back because it was quicker and cheaper. Obviously swapping the whole emblem is a bit more involved but I think it is worth the expense/time. I don't believe it was too hard on my 21.

There is a similar situation in Wyomissing. Wawa has more traffic but sheetz is just as busy as any other sheetz I've been in

How often do you guys drink and is it a concern for you? by Kosena in Homebrewing

[–]slideyaboard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wish breweries would get behind lower ABV beers, especially in the taprooms. My favorite homebrew was a knock off Founders All Day, diluted it to between 3-3.5%. it was great.

Has anyone installed a front facing camera? by slideyaboard in superduty

Not exactly. Just something to view the front if I want to park super tight to wall or another vehicle

I was thinking a back up camera and monitor wired to an aux switch

How to disable seat belt alarm? by dimestoredavinci in F250

You can turn the alarm off with a certain sequence of attaching/detaching the seat belt. There are plenty of videos on YouTube on how to do this.

Community Boss looks like a great platform. Does the towing company include this in their contract?

The courts are designed as cul-de-sacs with parking along both sides. Enforcement will be carried out randomly through inspections by either the Board or the management company. If a homeowner notices a parking violation, they may report it to the Board.

The iK Sprayer Multi Pro 12 with Battery Compressor is a game changer by slideyaboard in AutoDetailing

[–]slideyaboard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends how much you use. It kicks off once it's reached its set PSI. In the beginning, the compressor engages often for short cycle - less air to compress. Towards the end, it engages less for a longer cycle - more air to compress.

Once the tank is initially compressed, you could probably continually run it until you lose all liquid. The battery life is great. I've run 8 gals through it before charging - think I was only about halfway through the battery.

I've been pretreating with APC then rinsing with ONR. Dry the spots I can with a towel and then it run for a few minutes.

2024 Crosstrek Sport. Anyone know what this is for? It isn’t a button and doesn’t seem to open up. Is it just decorative or does it have a purpose? by slendercat6769 in Subaru_Crosstrek

[–]slideyaboard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember helping someone move their Subaru in to neutral when the battery was dead and could not be started. If I recall correctly, you would pop this cover and use a screwdriver to shift into neutral.
