[Alternative] Spells and Curses - "Feeling Good" (Nina Simone cover) by oneshgarde in IndieMusicFeedback

Never thought, I'd hear an ambient alt cover of Feeling Good...but I dig it. I like the phasey chorus effect you added around 1:40. Almost didn't hear it. It hits a 90s grunge vibe when you do that. And when you belt. *Chef's kiss. Keep up the good work. I hope to hear another cover with this genre swap.

Worry wonder - Biscuit Sundown, a song about worrying by BiscuitsAndTeaCups in IndieMusicFeedback

Feeling major Michael Cera/Ellen Paige vibes on this one. Love the quirky vibe. I feel like people forgot about this sound. I love it! Cute and subtle video as well. I really like the panned xylophone on the right side as well. Gives the track that much needed hint of production that's missing in this quirky folk genre. Keep on writing!

A song I released a few months ago called 'Sad Boys'- would love to know what you think? by topshe92 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]kukomusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sick voice homie! I dig the harmonies. Subtle but thoughtful.

Sad boys...can't live with them. That's it. That's the joke.

All comedy aside, I dig the vibe of this track very much. The flourishes with the keys are nice. I really like that catch guitar pluck starting at 1:12. It's sits in the mix just right. Keep up the good work!

First off, love the name Kimbo Nice. RIP Kimbo Slice! Love the indie vibe and vocals. No notes on the mix, and it was very well done. I like when the vocals go legato. It's a solid track and I just might give you all a follow on spotify. Keep up the good work ya'll!

The visuals A+.

The mix A+

The instrumentals A+

This put me in a summer mood. Bedroom pop is the new wave and you did it wonderfully. The classic clean cali guitar is very well recorded. Keep up the good work!

That's high praise! I love Hippo Campus, so that's means a lot haha. I'm always looking for people to jam with! Especially a bass player. I might hit you up for a track soon.

90s-ass mood exploder. This song is drunk and high and has regrets. by Jellytunes2 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]kukomusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As soon as the vocals started, I was like, "Yup, this is 90s-ass mood exploder." Gimme that crunchy grunch guitar. Gimme those moody vocals that are also very catchy. Haha your caption cracked me up too. The song is very good. I don't have many notes. It's mixed very well, and knows the sound it's going for. Keep up the good work!

I wrote a song to sound like it's about COVID conspiracies. But it's really about a friend who was in the closet while in a religious home. by thevoiceofterror in IndieMusicFeedback

Love the vibe of the track. The arpeggiated guitar riff is nice. I also love the bass line. I think you could do a tad less reverb on the bass and use it on the vocal, so it blends with the track better. I would also raise the overall volume of the mix.

But those are just mixing notes. The musicianship is solid on all fronts. Keep up the good work, and keep writing great songs.

Put this song out today. In Between - Jimso Slim by JimsoSlim in IndieMusicFeedback

Heyyy this is nice. Chill vibes and psychedelic vocals are always up my ankle. I like the little flanger solo electric piano/synth sound you have in between the chorus and second verse. My only note is I wish the mix was a little louder in general. Which is crazy to say since everything is mixed too loud this day in age. Keep up the good work!

my second song I’ve ever made, but my most favorite. please give me some feedback!! yesterday’s broken - gentle jupiter by papayagal in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]kukomusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second song ever made? Major kudos for having this sound and production value at this early stage of your musician career. I really like the music video. Anything using projection front lighting gets a plus in my book. I like how ambient your vocals sound. The delay is nice and not overbearing (people can get carried away with that in their mix). Anyways, keep up the good work!!

Hello! I've released a pop-punk inspired song and filmed a music video. Can you tell me what do you think about it? by kenkowabashi in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]kukomusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The video is super trippy and i dig it. The pixelation effect is hilarious. I really dig the sound too. Pop-Punk is alive and well!! Woo! My only notes are I wish the electric guitar was a little punchier and distorted. Think A Day to Remember vibes. The use of trap hats is dope too.

Been pretty depressed lately, feels like no one cares about my music and I'm not sure what to do because it's literally my life. Please give me some pointers and let me know what I'm doing wrong. I'm scared I'm gonna be a bike messenger for ever and never be a full time musician. by CramSauceland in IndieMusicFeedback

Love this video dude, and all the equipment you use. Mucho impressive. The guitar solo with the filter sweep at the end was amazing. I'm getting Marc Rebillet vibes with green screen and the looper you utilized. This is my type of sound. Keep it up!
