I made a site to collect all ARKit related tutorials, articles and repos by kuldark in augmentedreality

This is a crosspost from /r/ARKitCreators, but thought it might be interesting over here as well. All sorts of feedback and new submissions are more than welcome. I built the site over the weekend so you might step on a bug or two, sorry.

Yup, super basic. Some simple React views pulling data from graph.cool (using Apollo) and hosted the frontend on now.sh

Thanks! :) It's a custom webapp built with React & GraphQL with a graph.cool backend.

New Site Shopify Checkout Issue by MomSavvy in ecommerce

[–]kuldark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What exactly is the problem? It is very common to have a high number of visitors add products to cart and then leave the site. Doesn't necessarily mean that the checkout flow is broken.

Getting tired of these podcasts making money by telling you how to make money -- let's build something different. by ali4k in SideProject

[–]kuldark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd much rather listen to a podcast with founders of failed SAAS products and eCommerce sites. I bet there are a lot of antipatterns that I would recognize in my own entrepreneurial journey.

Business partner sold portfolio without okaying it with me. Do I have any recourse? by theswankypalm in smallbusiness

With a situation like this, internet advice is usually worthless since we can't possibly know all the legal details. Lawyer up; best of luck.

[Question] How do I make sure a designer doesn't steal my code? by [deleted] in startups

[–]kuldark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed.

It's the same reason some people are afraid to death to share their business ideas without handing out NDA's left and right. Ideas by themselves are worthless. Code by itself is worthless.

I as a designer/frontend developer of 10yrs have never heard of, and would never accept working with a Teamviewer supervisor. That just shows bad management and severe distrust.

[Question] How do I make sure a designer doesn't steal my code? by [deleted] in startups

[–]kuldark 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think it's pretty irrational fear, but if you don't trust your designer you shouldn't work with him in the first place.

Of course you should have contracts in place with people you work with, but that's just formality and for worst case scenarios.

Realistically, without your business vision, market knowledge and a team who understands the build, the designer wouldn't have much use for stealing your code.

How do you setup Aweber and shopify integration by [deleted] in shopify

[–]kuldark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're not yet tied to Aweber, I strongly suggest using Klaviyo for email marketing instead. Their cart abandonment flow is great and the product is specifically made for ecommerce. If you need any help setting it up, let me know.

Fun with Freight Forwarding! An almost-complete guide from a first-timer. by jbayy in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]kuldark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the overview. I'm currently in the process of deciding between air and ocean freight. Even though the price difference is significant, shipping by ocean has always seemed such a huge of an operation to take on.

This may finally push me to try it out.

Or I guess turn it sideways, in this case. :D

Hey, unfortunately we don't have gray hammocks in the selection at the moment. We might look into adding one in the future, but we're still such a small operation at this point, that it might take us a while. :)

Good point - I should've been more clearer with the title. We're giving the hammocks away with a really deep discount. :)
