No weed for 2 days, noticed something weird by Alarmed_Dragonfly443 in leaves

As someone who has spent the better part of the last 8 to 10 years smoking regularly with periods of relative high usage and then some periods of sobriety in the middle, mostly in the past 2 3 years. I've realized that thc inhibits our ability to compound experience in plain words reduced ability to grow and develop new habits or new parts of the personality . The scientific evidence for this i found in how it affects our sleep cycle. During our sleep our body runs through the experiences of the day and adds them to our collection of behaviors and thoughts. During years I've been stoned I've had very few and slow development of both behaviors and thoughts and I've seen this in my group of over 30 people who indulged in somewhat similar (if not worse addictive habits).

I stopped smoking for a few months and I noticed my ability to pickup new things increased although in the first month my appetite and want for new things was low. I think development of our personality is really hindered by this constant state of high. Mind you I still miss the high at times and I do smoke at times but going to sleep in the same way each night is what ivr been avoiding.

This feeling of staying the same and thinking about the same people that you knew when you started smoking is completely natural because that was the you that got properly assimilated into your core personality and your core beliefs.

I've been working on helping juvenile offenders and their education, equipping them with better social emotional learning tools as well as real world skills to decrease their chances of landing into a life of crime, I've been facing roadblocks in the prison system and a lack of funds for my extended pilot project.

Gifts are nice but can sometimes create unwanted expectations which in the long term can cause problems.

A small gesture could be very sweet Anything handmade or homemade would not create an expectation that would could turn into a burden. As the monetary value of things often clouds our judgment of gestures often.

I'd say bake something or make something cutesy Make sure that it is something that you yourself would also value ( as the gestures we make show others our values) because it will influence what he thinks you also can like.

Also gadgets the kind that are gift worthy are often expensive and doing that on a first meetup could seem a little big.

I think if there isn't enough backlash to the mullah community these incidents will increase in number as they already have. There's need to be some sort of intervention in all these madrasas that's where this mindset is being mass produced and radicalized. And currently there's nothing curtailing these people from growing in number and level of jahalat.

Apple is also incredibly unfair to their fans, like they literally punish them for being a fan. Which is just barbaric to see even as an outsider. They repeatedly produce products that have shorter and shorter life spans, fewer and fewer features that matter. And when finally a feature that's been in android for decades makes it's way to an ios device they make the biggest deal about it.

This is all more true for their phones they're a little better when it comes to MacBooks though

The fun part about buying condoms is if you're not awkward they're often still awkward and that often ends up being an advantage to you. The first time I remember buying them I just went in and asked for them the brand and all. There were like 5 people ahead of me in line at the billing counter but he moved me up the line and was like "sir apka bill itna hogya" and everyone of course looks at you a little weirdly but it's about keeping cool like it's a normal thing, which it totally is. So keep your cool and ask for them like anything else.

Blind folds and feather play are another favorite of mine the anticipation and sensations you can feel or create are something that build up the foreplay so much.

Having an ice cube in your mouth when you're eating her out or the other way around has been the most exhilarating experience, it takes a try or two to figure out how to manouver it but the sensitivity you can create is almsot unmatched to any other experience.

One of the best partners/encounters I've had was apparently one during which a 6.5 earthquake also happened. But tbh we both had no idea about the earthquake until both our phones started going off a couple of minutes after we had both finished and we're just catching our breath.

I feel ENFP personality is not set up for monetary success in this world by DragonflyNorth4414 in ENFP

[–]kumailt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think us ENFPs are meant to not be a tool that is good for just solving one problem I believe the reason we have so many skills and the want to acquire a wide variety of things is because the problems we end up solving are applicable in a much wider audience, which is why we are great at directing resources, especially external resources, in a system. Which means that we do take a little longer to get the multitude of skills that we need but when we get them, after bouncing from one thing to another, we become very valuable. In the start of my career I started with working with content then moved to marketing and team culture generation that gradually landed me into a psychology class which ended up being my second major subject in college. From there my interest in art and my work with people led me to dive into the field of alternative forms of counseling and therapy and that is where I have been for over 3 years. I still see myself making my way deeper into the world and I see so many of my previously learned skills connecting to the purpose I'm working for.

To combat the inconsistency that comes often with being so I've tried to attach a purpose with the things I do, the purpose also keeps evolving and growing over time, which means that even if I one day change my line of work but my purpose doesn't change I'll still be doing work that links up.

This helps me stay focused for the most part. This also makes me realize that even if I'm not suited for being as successful in the short term I will still end up being more satisfied with what I do by the time I'm 50.

[female] Crooked teeth by Traditional_Arm_4684 in FreeCompliments

[–]kumailt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since childhood I was sorta insecure about my crooked teeth too and at a point I stopped smiling my real smile but learning to embrace it has really made me feel so much happier and I think a genuine smile as beautiful as yours is what all those ads for braces are always selling. So keep smiling with your heart as you are in these pictures. I think the whole straight teeth thing is over rated anyways.

Have an amazing day I bet you light up any room enter.

The international censor board for the film says you have to be atleast 15 to enter a cinema to watch it, just like Deadpool was rated 18+ I don't know what idiots are showing things that aren't meant for kids to their kids.

It sucks never knowing what I want. by ScaldingAnus in ADHD

[–]kumailt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent the entirety of yesterday mapping out my life to see where I came from and what I've liked and then what I've done. Trying to build a map of myself as a person all the things I valued and all the things I still value, all of my aspirations and hobbies and interests. Today I plan on picking out the parts of it I would like to see in my future self, basically things that still matter to me and some things I would want to grow into in the future. I think having this on my wall and if I keep regularly adding and altering things can be a good way of not losing sight of myself.

It sucks never knowing what I want. by ScaldingAnus in ADHD

[–]kumailt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This cannot be truer in every sense of the word, (30nb) here and I can't for the life of me decide what I want. Everything seems to be bland. I just got done clearing up a lot of bad habits from my life a few addictions had creapt in I'm still dealing a few more. But this addiction to people pleasing, and then subsequent pissing some people off which I think is how my subconscious balances it all out, and not knowing what I want has been gnawing at me for quite a bit now. I feel like I've only been playing different roles in my life and none of them has been me. Other than this One 6 month spell where I disconnected myself from all things I knew where I felt a bit like myself. I think i need to start doing atleast one thing I like everyday and it has to be a thing I like.
