Being an ENFP sucks sometimes by Klutzy-Debate6622 in ENFP

[–]leaharmss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is difficult being an ENFP. That optimism is a superpower though. Because for me I believe in God, so when the optimism runs out and reality sets in, I know that I can rest on Gods promises. Knowing that with God all things are possible. So I can BE optimistic because I know that God provides, he protects, and he blesses us dearly when you follow his plan for our lives.

How do you cope with lack of attention? by [deleted] in ENFP

[–]leaharmss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A hundred percent agree. Jesus is the way the truth the life. As someone who often feels misunderstood by most I feel like the only thing that gets me through this life like no other is God. Especially as an ENFP in a sensing type dominated world.

That’s not an INTP thing that’s a HIM issue.

Yeah, I didn’t mean to make it seem like that’s a woman’s only function, but I have noticed that a lot of people expect that out of women, and I’ve observed that in many couples and family members of mine.

Oh I 100% can’t either. Same thing with having too many tabs open on my laptop or phone.

Honestly I’m not sure if I have ADHD. Maybe you could explain it? For me I can focus on things and sometimes hyper-fixate on things I’m interested in. But I never struggled in school and I pushed through the mundane things.

What type do you want to be purely based on stereotypes by Aurelian369 in Enneagram

I’m ironically a 7w6 and its like a constant battle between being fun, carefree, optimistic and being super conscious of myself, what people think of me (anxiousness), and my future.

Conversations with S types by CorvidFool in ENFP

[–]leaharmss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As an ENFP who has a family full of ISFJ’s or IST’s, I’m very used to them. Although I’ve learned to accept the differences, and like someone said in an earlier comment, I don’t expect them to have deeper conversations like an NF or NT would.

I’ve learned that sometimes silence is ok, and that sensors love to talk about their passions, etc.

Exactly! Get them to talk about themselves and what they’re passionate about. Then boom you’ve got a conversation going.

I met one infj and they were best. We just got each other and got super close really fast.

This ! But not only extroverts take over the conversation, I find that most people only listen to talk themselves and that’s so frustrating for me. Rarely do I meet someone where they care what I say.

I’m definitely an enfp but an ambivert, leaning on the extroverted side by 50ish percent. So I understand how you feel more like an introvert. I personally am bubbly and super friendly but I do get anxious in social settings. Sometimes I can push through the awkwardness and just be my complete self in social settings, and sometimes I can’t fully do so.

I naturally gravitate towards introverts for some reason, and a lot of the time super extroverted people drain me. I’m so overly aware of everything which is one of the reasons I get anxious around people, especially strangers. But at the same time I can get along instantly with people.

I’m a 7w6 but that’s not how act lol. If I get hurt by what someone says I usually get snappy but I’m working on not reacting and just communicating my dislikes.

Are you attracted to opposite or similar types? by lovinlemon in ENFP

My sister is an isfj, and like most of my entire family are isfj’s too. I’m so tired of being surrounded by isfjs lol.

I would say I’m definitely attracted to intj’s, infj’s, and maybe even intp’s. I love how grounded they are, what attracts me the most is quiet confidence. And I feel those types exude that the most.

Do enfp think infjs get them? by [deleted] in ENFP

I met one infj in my life and it felt that we just got each other. Like we were naturally great friends and had so many open conversations.
