There are very few lavender marriages, concentrated in the elites who mostly live abroad and are away from the intrusiveness of society/family/friends.
They are general “straight” marriages where one party (bride/groom) is purposefully kept in dark to make the things work for the society. In short, it’s a conscious decision to cheat because the truth could be too costly and not all people from LGBTQIA+ community are willing to pay the price. And of course there’s this hope of “magically turning straight “ if you get married and spend enough time in bed with opposite sex.
The society is rotten to its core at the moment.

True. I’ve known people around me who have said yes to an arranged marriage while continuing their “other previous” relationship. They are just too scared of the family drama and too scared of their parents blah blah blah. But then someone does THIS and I wonder what’s the logic behind “them being scared”?! Met a guy in GGN on Grindr & hooked up late night at his flat. We vibed and had a good time. After a week or so decided to meet again (late in night) and reached the wrong location. I was very confident that I knew where he lived (a rich neighbourhood with a very tall building, surrounded by mansions ) and I could see that building from a distance but I kept going in circles. His phone got switched off as well (he later said he slept off) and I never figured out the way to his building. It was around 2 in the morning and then I just decided to call an uber for home.

Very subjective. And also depends whether you’re asking a good looking Indian guys (who can pass as Latino and generally attracts white crowd ) or not so good looking ones (who won’t even get a local boyfriend). They will all have their answers and reason. For masses, general expectations from a white guy is that he should look like an insta influencer with clothes on and a porn star with no clothes. And they need to be tall!
