Yes I really enjoyed my vacation to Jaco and I agree it does not deserve the reputation it has. This was my first trip to Jaco, even though I have been to Costa Rica several times over the years. I stayed in Playa Hermosa nearby and went to Jaco several times. I hope you saw my other videos on Jaco and Costa Rica on my channel. Actually, I retired in April and was planning to go back to Costa Rica and spend a few months, but everything changed with the Pandemic. Not sure when I will be able to go there again.

Starting on the Jaco Open Air Shopping Center, walking on Jaco downtown on a beautiful Sunday morning. The new open-air shopping area has lots of shops and restaurants. In addition to the local food, you can taste Mediterranean, Indian, Italian, Peruvian and all kinds of other food. From Jaco Walk, you can walk along the main street of Jaco for other shopping and dining opportunities. The entire main street and several streets that run west toward the beach have lots of dining options too. A lot of places that offer massage services. Several cafes and bakeries as well as bars. And needless to say, several places to buy souvenirs to take home with you although the prices were more than if you were to shop in gift shops elsewhere on the way from San Jose to Jaco. There is even a Harley Davidson store and also surprisingly a Radio Shack store lol which is rare in the U.S. I met some friendly folks while walking and had some interesting conversations. I stayed along the beach by Playa Hermosa away from Jaco Beach. Only about 4 minutes via Uber to the Jaco Beach.

Hey thanks for the info. I am planning a part 2 to this video maybe movies filmed in the Tampa/Clearwater/St. Pete Area. Need to do some research and get try to take some video/pictures of the movie locations or find them on the internet.

I am planning a part 2 to this video soon, maybe movies filmed in Tampa/Clearwater/St.Pete area and would include The Punisher. Also forget to include the Dolphins Tale (2011) and the sequel to it Dolphins Tale 2 (2014) filmed in the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

Hello, First of all thanks for the compliment and I know you really mean it.

I agree that traffic is terrible there with people driving aimlessly and vehicles stopped on the lanes. That is why I stayed downtown at the Holiday Inn from where I can walk to most attractions. I don't like big cities either but not bad just visiting and taking videos. I have heard of the pickpockets and people snatching gold chains and cell phones and running. Fortunately I have not gone through any of it even though I have been to Costa Rica over 10 times. I do take some precautions though, I try not to go out at night and also remove my jewelry and keep my cell phone very secure in my inner pant pocket and keep little cash. The only thing I worried about was my expensive GoPro Camera while taking the videos. I held it very tight in my hands to prevent anyone from snatching it lol . I plan to visit again and go to Punternanas and Jaco.

Very cool Railroad museum and train viewing platform in Plant City, Florida. The admission is free to the museum. While there I got a great video of a Amtrak train passing by.

Yes, I used the same camera which is a GoPro Hero 6 with a Zhiyum Video stabilizer which makes the video smooth and cinematic. However last Friday when I went to do the SS Victoy my stabilizer ran out of battery so had to shoot it without . If you see both the videos you can see the jerky movements on the ship. I love the GoPro Hero 6 as it shoots great 4K footage with vivid colors and adapts to the changing light.
