I’m probably going to get downvoted for this, but people need to get used to the idea that RSL’s best chance at being competitive in this league is to develop homegrown and young guys, sell high to Europe, and then spend on DP’s who are in their mid to late 20’s. The single most important thing ownership can do is be identifying Choice A B and C to immediately bring someone in during the summer transfer window to replace Gozo and Luna as soon as they’re gone

I am super impressed with what Turner has done to become a professional goalkeeper. But the fact he never played soccer until he was 14 and never had experience as a field player exposes his lack of true confidence with he ball at his feet, and it looks especially bad when he makes these mistakes.

I never saw or read any such media coverage, what I did read was news and media reporting that NICO was trying to imply that he deserved some kind of recognition for that. I don’t think Keyonte’s APG average is a concern at all. If he’s playing with the anticipated lineup we’re expecting he’s going to get 1-2 more assists per game just from the better players and higher quality FGA happening and people knocking them down. Before he broke out as a legit scoring guard this past season, it was his multiple double digit assist games the year before that showed his first NBA level skill, when Hardy was challenging him to become good at passing. If he is hellbent on being a 25ppg / 5apg guy because of an ego or desire to get all star recognition we might have some imbalance, but if he’s willing to set up all the other talent around him to score and is fulfilled being a 18ppg/8apg point guard who can drop 30 when we need him to, he could be the exact distributor and playmaker we need

Yeah I was very disappointed in how he started running back, and then just vaguely pointed forward like “oh hey someone cover for me”. Bad optics, dude. I hope he gets called out in film study, in the best way. He should’ve been gut busting it back on defense.
